Hope so. I was talking about that ep with a friend earlier in the week. Such a good one.
He did say the word 'tomb' in the trailer didn't he? Unless I heard wrong.
He definitely did.

Looking forward to this. Let's hope it is as exciting as it looks. So far this season has been a bit of an anti climax. I've already forgotten some if the titles of the episodes!!

Sorry for this, but could someone change the title of this thread to be in the same format as the other discussion threads?

It should be something like Doctor Who: Dark Water - 1/11/14 (BBC One/HD - 8.15pm) Discussion

If nobody else cares, then ignore this request, but inconsistency in the discussion thread format bugs me slightly.

Dark Water by Steven Moffat. Camphill High School, Paisley.
Dark Water by Caro Ramsay (and excellent read!) Camphill High School Paisley
Me. Yup . Camphill High School. Paisley.
(It all happened in Paisley you know. David Tennant (Paisley Grammar pfft!) , Gerry Rafferty. Gerald Butler. Fulton MacKay etc)
My wish for Saturday is that whatever is gong in with Clara does not totally wreck everything and everyone she supposedly was before -ie impossible girl etc, But I also wondered if she was going to end up Dalek Clara, but then again she had a different name really didn't she?

Interesting set of pictures released from Dark Water.

Note the shape of the Cybermen Eyes and the Window in the Door that Chris Addison's character is stood behind. A clue ?

Also - Death in Heaven currently has a 60 min slot on the Radio Times XML EPG data. Wonder if it's an extended episode ?

p.s. remember 12 called Clara "Handles" in Deep Breath - was that a hint or bad memory ? Note the Cyberman head 12 holds in the first pic of that set of pics

"The dead don't come back" is going to be mocked for years to come if the finale doesn't back it up and stray from previous "deaths."

Looks like the critics are playing the waiting game

@PCJ_PCJonathan
Also, the previews department are masters at trolling.

"Who are you?"
"You know who I am."
*Scene Withheld*

...TWICE.
‏@morganjeffery
Why edit a TV preview when you're not allowed to talk about it til after broadcast anyway? Just hinders a critic's ability to review.
@StephenPKelly
"SCENE OMITTED." ARGH.
Missy under wraps.

Strongly agree with this. And I hope for someone kind of explanation that works well for her confusing character/s. Whether it be now or by the Christmas episode.

Also just noticed the Doctor uses the same phrase as Missy 'Clara, my Clara'.

Nice little mix up there..

...a lot of this episode will appear crass and in poor taste to anyone who`s suffered a bereavement, which is most of us.

Really looking forward to this episode and the trailer has really got me excited. I hope the finale does answer the questions and we aren't left wondering and have loose ends.

It's Moffat. Loose ends are guaranteed! I do wonder though if the story will spill over into the Christmas Special making it a sort of trilogy. Not much is known about the Christmas Special at the moment although filming has been completed.

I assume it's going to be in reference to the show stating that when you die, you're gone.

He implied Death on Heaven would keep viewers waiting for Christmas. Though my view of that will depend on how much fluff is packed in to the special. At least it's close.

For what it's worth, it's possible that print media reviewers have seen a full version of the episode (as they have longer publishing lead-times), but my preview comes with the following caveat:

**WE HAVE ALSO REMOVED THE FINAL SCENES TO AVOID MAJOR SPOILERS**

No great surprise that the end of the first part of a two-part season finale contains major spoilers, but clearly there's something big they absoutely don't want to leak. Well, duh.
