It's a real shame that just a few weeks after I posted a thread heralding the present series of Who as one of the most consistent in the programs history - "without a clunker in sight", that Forest of the Night had to come along and render that paraphrase wildly inaccurate.
Thank goodness then that this week's episode of the Eighth Doctor Adventures: Lucie Miller, on BBC Radio 4 Extra more than makes up for the utter dross that was TV Doctor Who's output this week. I don't know how many of you are following this series or have already heard it, but this really was one of the finest episodes of Doctor Who I've encountered in any medium. Sheridan Smith is brilliant in it. I've added a link below if anybody fancies a listen.
