I would have thought that Scots voters would have had enough after the Referendum.

Not forgetting the 80% who vote for their favourite pro, regardless of who they are dancing with.

** I made that % up by the way. It may be 99.9%.
It's a well known fact that 83% of statistics are made up on the spot

I love Scott and Joanne so much. Think they are great. But I don't vote for anyone. Other then once online.

Apparently Zayn from One Direction has said that if Scott gets through this weekend, he can dance at his wedding!

If @scott_mills & @joanneclifton get through tonight Zayn from @onedirection has promised them they can dance at his wedding! Please vote!

“I saw Perrie at the Radio 1 Teen Awards, and she told me I was adorable and said I should dance at her wedding,” he said.
“When I interviewed One Direction this week, I asked Zayn the same question and he promised that if I get through this week, I can dance at their wedding.”

Are you sure? I know no-one who is remotely interested in listening to him on Radio 1!
You aren't the target demographic for Radio 1, and I'm guessing you didn't like him before. That doesn't mean there aren't Strictly viewers within the target demographic that aren't taking more of an interest in his radio show.

Scotland votes for Judy
Scottland votes for Scott

There seems to be some kind of rule for these shows that when someone that we don't like is getting votes, we have to assume the worst possible motivation in others that do vote for them. It rarely occurs to these people that some people just like different things!

Unless all the One Direction fans are sat, phone in hand, waiting for the secret signal to say the phone lines are open I can't see that it's going to make that much of a difference, to be honest.

And he is right!

Only viewers who mistakenly think Strictly is solely a dancing competition - which it isn't and never has been - feel the duffers don't 'deserve' their place in the show. After 12 series, I don't think their misconceptions about what Strictly is will ever change though.

I firmly believe that a programme that featured Chris Parker in the first final running round waving a cape to the Batman theme fully understands what it's target audience are after.

It definitely does aggs.

Completely off topic, just seen Pat Cash on A League of their own and thought it was Bradley Walsh for a second

There's a difference between 'is' and 'should be'

Well I'm sorry Kirsty but I and most of the people on here think Scott is absolutely terrible. He cannot dance and is an embarrassment. I haven't a clue who is voting for him other than his radio show fans. But why they should think he's a worthy person to save on Strictly, I have no idea. He is causing far better dancers to be at risk and actually he has attitude problems too. I hope he goes tonight.

What's causing far better dancers to be at risk is people not voting for them. Nothing to do with Scott. One of Simon and Thom would have been in the dance-off regardless of how many people voted for him.
