Hi I purchased a Samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet from the states last year. I have the galaxy tab OTG 5 in one usb connector. When I put my 32gb stick in a try to view the films on the stick nothing comes up. Also I have tried to upload adobe flash player but with no luck. Any suggestions as to how I can rectify this would be much appreciated thanx

What app are you using to view the movie files? Have a look on the Play store and see if there is one for the specific file format your film is in.

I have several, because none of them seem to work for all formats.

EDIT. I might have misinterpreted what you meant, can you see the files at all?

Is the drive formatted as FAT32? If so, have you tried powering the tab up from cold with the adapter and flash drive plugged in?

As for Flash, only some browsers will entertain it - Dolphin is one and works well. Presumably, the tab 10.1 isn't running KitKat (that's another issue). You can get the last Android version of Flash from the Adobe website and must have "Unknown sources" ticked in Settings, Security to allow it to be installed as an APK. I'd download it straight from the tablet's browser to save transferring it (setting User Agent to Desktop in the browser's settings or selecting Request Desktop site may make this easier).

Yeah that's what I meant to say that I can't see view any files at all. When I click on the file it says something like "not supported". Thanks for your reply I will try looking in play store again
