We all have songs we listen to that bring back memories, make us feel emotional that we love to listen to. My list would be:

Porcelain Moby
Be mine David Gray
Trouble Coldplay
Private emotion Ricky Martin ft.Mya
The long goodbye Paul Brady
The scientist Coldplay
How to save a life Fray
No regrets Robbie Williams

What about other readers

The XX - Angels

Reminds me of saying goodbye to my ex over two years ago. I've never cried so much in my entire life.

Millions, but one in particular, a very old one by Gerry and The Pacemakers called Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying, I can barely listen to, I'm almost in tears now just at the thought.

Moby - 'When it's cold I'd like to die'

Also Frank Ocean - 'Strawberry Swing' really strikes a chord with me. Makes me feel sad but also weirdly optimistic at the same time.

Eva Cassidy - Over the Rainbow - played at both my uncle and aunt's funerals. Can't listen to it at all now

also Mariah Carey - Butterfly - reminds me of an ex; was playing when we broke up. I didnt ever like Mariah Carey though so its not like I come across it very often

Agree, this is an incredibly sad song. The video is sad too. Also, 'I was Here' from her fourth album is quite a tear jerker too.

Mew - Comforting Sounds

Over 9 minutes of bliss. Birdy's cover of it is also really good. If you've never heard it, I suggest you go listen now. The way it builds up at the end!
