Aliona.

I always think of Nat as The Lovely Natalie Lowe - and enjoyed her in full swoosh to Tony Bennett and Gaga - but wasn't keen on her with Tim

Loving Aljaz this year and enjoying Trent's choreography. Tristan's a sweetheart.

Gotta be Kevin, even though he still hasn't grasped meaning of 'Less is More'. But he's a fantastic dancer and it's nice to see he doesn't 'save' himself but Goes For It every time. He also seems a good, kind, encouraging teacher and excellent choreographer, plus lots of fun.
Female: now Flavia & Lilia are gone, I really like Janette's talent, energy and choreography plus she relates well to all her partners. Kudos to dear Natalie, too--of which ditto plus she's gorgeous.

Its a hard call. I voted for Pasha based on his personality. I think all the professionals are brilliant.

I don't know why, but currently my favourite pro is Trent, probably because of his chemistry with Pixie!

Aliona. She's not afraid to do something different and I think I like her rebellious side, maybe 'cos I'm so un-rebellious and I can live vicariously through Aliona!

For the men - Anton, because he never fails to choreograph to the needs of his partner, no matter how good or bad they are.

Edit: I wanted to add, I'm pleased that looking at the poll all the dancers have got some votes as they all work hard and deserve a bit of love from the fans.

New girl Joanne doesn't appear popular.

My favourite male dancer is easily Kevin. My favourite female dancer is Natalie, closely followed by Iveta, I love her sense of humour.

As a rule new female pros tend not to be popular in their first series - most people disliked Natalie at first. But I do find Joanne more irritating than most.

Can someone explain what the feud is between Aliona and Len, I've noticed it mentioned a few times but have only watched strictly the past two years.

Yes - it started in series 9, when Aliona was partnered by Harry Judd. Aliona was putting a lot of out-of-hold "faffing around" in her routines, something which wasn't so prevalent then as it is now. Len wanted to see proper dance content, of course.

Anyway, it was either in round 4, when they danced a Waltz, or round 5, a Tango, that Len blew up and told Aliona in no uncertain terms he was getting fed up with the faffing, and that he'd be marking them down. Then, in the following week's ITT, when Aliona was asked to comment, she said something to the effect of "I do listen to the judges, but I don't necessarily take their advice on board".

From then on, with the faffing continuing (to a degree), Len's marking was consistently lower than the other judges, including Craig (something which hasn't ever happened, before or since). Although eventually, with both Aliona and Len relenting somewhat, Harry and Aliona went on to win.

If you want to look at the relevant statistics, you can find them at ultimatestrictly.com.

My 3 co-favourites have all been booted off, so I'm not happy.

Feel a bit sorry for Kristina and Joanne, who seem to be scoring low here. Joanne suffers from being a bit irritating (are they all like that in Grimsby?), but seems a nice girl, as does Kristina.

Iveta pips it this year. Love her attitude, her pronunciation and her way with stretch jersey. That stuff is the devil to sew. If she is doing all that herself she should be a judge on the Sewing Bee. May Martin? Pah!

The irony of all of that is that Aliona was by no means the only one breaking the rules that year (or the year before), and the rules have been basically meaningless since - Janette would never have got away with the last 20 seconds of the Quickstep she did for Jake in series gone by, but Len didn't even comment on it last week!

Yep, no doubt about it, standards have slipped/changed (overall, for the worse, I think).

There aren't any I don't like, but I miss Vincent and Flavia. Of the current crop my faves are probably Kevin and Iveta - though it does vary!

NOT going to vote because I think that the poll should be more representative and give more choices.

Now you could say who is your favorite pro for Latin and who is your favorite for Ballroom ? ; that would be MORE FAIR and representative IMO.
Personally my favorite pro for one style of dance is not the same for the other one

Anyways,

Female pro is a tie between Natalie/Iveta/Ola.

Male Pro is a tie between Aljaz and Brendan.
Edy- my EXACT choices!! Feeling good about Tristan too!

Interesting that the bottom four are all women (and three of them have decent chances to shine with their partners as well, so that's no excuse), and that male pros make up 56% of the votes despite being in the minority. Might suggest that the female pro line-up needs adjusting (although the newer pros seem markedly less popular than the older ones in general so maybe it's just a bedding in thing).

Tristan is my new favourite male pro. I would have voted for Brendan, but I saw Tristan on ITT and decided I liked him even more!

Kristina is my favourite female pro. I'm hoping she gets far in the competition this year.
I miss Flavia and I'm not too keen on Joanne. I'm not that a big fan of Kevin, either.

I don't think it's because they're both from Grimsby but it is the common denominator
