So presumably he will be freed but how will they write him out for a couple of years as you would assume he'd go home to be with Simon?

Any ideas what happens to him anyone?

He'll probably realise that he can't live in a place where everyone thought he was guilty.

Having completely failed to notice that, every time someone's accused of a crime, everyone else immediately assumes they're guilty.

Except, of course, when they are guilty, and then everyone thinks they're innocent, and that the accuser is mad.

Ironic as the place he would be returning to would be where everyone else has been found guilty of a crime they didn't commit, only to be released later on

Pretty much this.

In agreement with both of these observations haha

Well Simon has been living with Leanne for quite a while now so he won't leave with Peter, because he is needed for the following things:

1. Saying "I hate you," to people he hasn't already said it to.
2. Throwing himself into someones chest for a hug when he is upset (surely he is getting too old for this nonsense now?)
3. To no doubt throw it back in Leanne's face when he is older and no doubt a troubled teen, "You aren't my mother,"

ETC...

I really like Rob the last few months, is the door going to be left open for him to come back?

I want Rob to return even though he killed Tina who I also liked. Rob is played by a good looking actor who has improved with time. Once he's done his time he could come back to be near his sister. I don't know about Tracey. She could move on to Tony perhaps.

SPOILER:

Peter returns to the street, spends time there, then he decides to move to Portsmouth, and says goodbye to Simon and the Barlows.

That is pretty obvious, I think.

He has already in reality given Simon to Leanne because he feels he is not a fit father, so I am quite sure he will leave him behind with Leanne.

Maybe Peter wouldn't even be legally able to return to the street, like how in Eastenders when Jake couldn't return to the square for a while after his charges were dropped? (That's assuming Corrie bother with the legal stuff though.)

I think Peter will most probably decide to live away for a while to better himself. He'll have to relearn how to cope with alcohol in the open world after being shut off from it (well, for some of the time) in prison and also, he'd probably recognise that he isn't healthy for Simon right now, so he'd need to get his life back in order so he can try to mend his relationship with his son (again.) He has a lot of making up to do with the people in his life and he needs to accept that he has to let Carla go and being there every day on the same street while his his head is a mess from being a barely recovering alcoholic who has just been dumped back into his old life after being falsely convicted for murdering someone won't achieve that.

I hope he goes away somewhere nice so he can 'find himself'. He's been through so much, and bad things always seem to happen to him. It would be lovely for Ken to keep us updated with how he's getting on with his life through phone calls etc.

Poor Peter, always tripping and accidentally falling into bed with other women while he's in a relationship, bad luck always happens to him.

Simon can go visit Peter in Portsmouth at weekends and holidays etc, lots of separated parents move away. Its not like he's moving to Australia, he practically living with Leanne full-time anyway and Simon might not want anything to do with him.

And he never takes the blame himself for anything that goes wrong.
