The Apprentice has drawn in huge official ratings, for the first two episodes!

Episode 1: 8.22million

Episode 2 7.50million

Episode 1 was the fourth most watched thing on UK TV tthat week after SCD main show, results show, and Downton Abbey.

Also that is the 3rd highest rating ever for a first episode, behind only Series 5 and 7.

Wednesday's episode only managed 5.91m in terms of overnights - hopefully picks up a lot of views on iPlayer etc, cos it was a good episode, and people will wanna see the double firing!

I'm A Celebrity has crippled The Apprentice in the overnights!

Strange. I recorded IAC and watched The Apprentice live. Fast forwarding the ads makes it the most efficient way to watch both programmes.
