Let us hope that the

Strictly Christmas Special 2014

is not BBC-speak for the

Bruce FForysth Show with a bit of dancing thrown in to fill the gaps while the ffaltering old ffool ffaffs around and ffluffs his lines when he tries to be ffunny.

That really would put a dampener of the ffestivities.

It would. I for one am not looking forward to seeing him.

Looks like I'll have to go back to the recording and fast-forwarding again.

To get a "refresher" on how self-centred and ignorant he was.

Someone put this up on the favourite dances thread.

Click on the link and listen to his stupid and childish blancmange "joke," in the circumstances, so pointless.

It will be great to see Sir Brucie back in his rightful place at the helm of Strictly Come Dancing.

Depending on who the celebs are, I might not bother watching and save wear on the FF or mute button of my remote. It was a very nice few months without even a hint of the previous presenter anywhere until the introductory show of this year's Strictly spoilt it.

Funnily enough I don't think I will mind Bruce's antics too much seeing as it is Christmas and I will (I hope) be replete with grub and booze by then!

Yeah, that's how I feel. Season of goodwill and all that...I can put up with an hour or so of Brucie for one day.

Sadly, as has so often been the case Terry ,your spelling does leave something to be desired.

Your sentence should have been written as...

It will be grate to see ...

or, if you prefer,

It will be great to see the back of Sir Brucie ....

Time to fforget the ffaffing ffumbling old ffool and remember when he was a competent game show presenter.
