Best Value Phablet
Hi - My current T Mobile two year contract will end in December.
I am thinking of buying a Sim Free Phablet, as I need a larger screen for my work. I will go onto a sim only deal with initially EE for its 4G, but when O2 finally gets 4G around here, I will switch to a Tesco sim only deal. I intend to keep the phablet for 18 months before changing it. I have a maximum budget of £300, and have been looking at the HTC 816. Can anyone out there recommended any other phablets, that I should consider? Thanks. |

I have a Sony Xperia Z Ultra which I consider to be the best phone I have ever owned. Smooth and fast with a good 1920 x 1080, 6.3" screen. It is over a year old, but this means it can be found on Amazon for under 300 pounds. I wouldn't exchange it for any other phone at the current time.

The large Nokia Lumias are good value if you are prepared to look at Windows Phone as an option.

Z ultra or g3 are best value at present, I would go g3 overall unless you fancy bigger screen of ultra.

May be worth waiting a few days until the nexus 6 price is confirmed but I suspect it will be above the £300 mark.
