Ooh thanks.
Sunetra has the same version of the song that Zoe Lucker did. Had to search for Frankie's as didn't know it. Tango? Really? |

So a full house of 11 out of 11 unsuitable pieces of music.
Can't accuse the BBC producers of bias of giving dodgy music to the dross and good music to their favourites. They have tried hard to achieve balance and have succeeded. |

Gawd, I hardly dare think of how the singer is going to do 'wuthering heights' considering they seem to struggle with alot of the songs - and this one ain't easy

Disappointing! ![]() Quote:
Caroline and Pasha will be performing the Samba to ‘Le Freak’ by Chic. Its not bad but I think this is a lot better Halloween song. From 2:30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w267wi4wy8Y Steve and Ola will be performing the Charleston to ‘Dem Bones Dem Bones’ by Kay Starr. VERY disappointing! ![]() ![]() ![]() again, I think this would have been better - especially as they are going to be dancing skeletons. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3ONuKuyVpo . |

So excited for all those choices apart from Frankie's tango song, which makes no effing sense whatsoever.

Now I absolutely love Defying Gravity, it's one of my favourite songs of all time but how the HELL are they going to make it a tango?
Assume they'll use this version- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwGz7WU3RRE (which is Kerry Eliss rock version) which still isn't exactly tango but it's a lot more suitable than the original |

Did I dream it or did they not say on ITT last night (or Monday) that Pixie and Frankie would be doing the same dance this week thus enabling more direct comparisons, so Pixie's would be a Tango in that case? (Frankie has already done Paso)

the best choices there are Mark and Karens Jive (it actually has jive beat) and Judy's
cannot see how they will get a tango out of defying gravity am looking through our music to see if we have a version Both the pasos a bit meh but can see how they can pick one out of them loathe la freak and not keen on tainted love as a jive wish they would get the song titles right it is Dry Bones not dem bones and the Kay Starr version is too slow but we used this for a halloween show years ago thoough not a charleston could see how they could pic one out of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLi55MV04a8 thought Alison was supposed to be doing a Charleston and Pixie tango??? |

Aljaz as Heathcliff = Bizarre sexual fantasy no.26b)iii checked off!
Seriously, Wuthering Heights is one of my favourite novels, the song is one of my favourite songs, Aljaz makes a rather pretty but believable Heathcliff. Alison as Catherine is rather ... ahem ... leftfield. Halloween indeed! Le Freak is one of my favourite songs to dance to but apart from the word 'freak' in the title there is nothing remotely Halloweeny about it. Have no idea what 'Defying Gravity' is but it sounds like another twee song for Frankie. Black Betty for a paso!!!! Again not particularly Halloweeny apart from the word 'black' in the title. Have no idea what the Cruella de Vil song sounds like but, sadly, I fear Judy is going to make an excellent Cruella. The mind boggles at what Anton might be wearing. Little Shop of Horrors should be good fun for a jive. Mark and Karen are relatively lucky. An American Smooth to Dentist! would have been waaaaaaaay funnier though. Performing a paso to Danger! High Voltage! is one of those things I never knew I wanted to do until today. Again, Gay Bar! would have been waaaaaaay funnier. Please producers can someone one day dance to Gay Bar! on Strictly? The Addams Family Theme could work and is truly Halloweeny. Think Scott is one of the lucky ones. Poison is a bit underwhelming for a paso (a bit like Because the Night last year). It doesn't really suit Simon's personality, except the fact that he is clearly voting line poison. Dem Bones, Dem Bones is great for a Charleston. Steve is lucky with the music and I hope he can pull it off. Tainted Love has been used too often on Strictly and I'm not sure even the Gloria Jones version is dynamic and fast enough to pull off a crowd-pleasing jive. All-in-all I would say most of these songs have a very tenuous link to Halloween and the suggestions people made on this site were a lot spookier and more dramatic. They seem to have gone for cutesy Halloween. |

They'll surely rearrange the music of Defying Gravity to suit a tango. Unless its a misprint and they're doing the rumba.

thought Alison was supposed to be doing a Charleston and Pixie tango??? Interesting that there are no waltzes or VWs in there seeing as last year's efforts in the same week got some judges' stick (and Rachel went out that week on hers) so it looks like they are trying to get more of them to do slightly more animated dances this Hallowe'en? That said Alison's AS song sounds like it may well be waltz-y. |

Actually think Allison could go this weekend - it's not going to be a dance that she will be able to show off her personality and unless she gets the footwork right isn't going to be high up on the leaderboard.
Weird song choice for Frankie/ Kevin, in fact it's possibly weirder than Mama Mia Foxtrot! |

![]() Kate Bush had a four-octave range. A daft choice of song if you ask me. |

I Frankie has the best song if they can make the song suit the tango routine.
