Someone needs to phone Kate Bush and warn her she's going to be murdered this weekend.

I love the dramatic start but it would be fast for a quickstep let alone tango
and slowed still the wrong rythm at least the other version you can pick out a tango but picking at straws really it is such a weird choice

You know a lot more than me about ballroom music, I was just thinking "tango music is dramatic right?" It is such a strange choice but if any couple can make it work its them

Nice bunch of songs this week, but another Halloween week without a Cha-Cha to Werewolves of London
I've been hoping someone would use Werewolves of London one Halloween, too! For something. Such a good song! (And werewolf costume potential!) Ah well, maybe next year..
I do agree some of the songs chosen here have a very tenous link to Halloween, Like thy've been squeezed in to fit the theme...kind of.

haha have just done a tango to the remix and it is ok but they would have to use something like it to get it to work and hopefully they will with the remix being sung by Idina Menzel from the show but you are right your version has a more dramatic feel

Sunetra did not say she was doing a waltz on her twitter though think she was talking about V Waltz and was referring to it as waltz so people presumed she was doing one

Like I said above, I am sure on ITT they said they would be doing the same dance and it would be a more direct comparison for folk. Perhaps they are worried that whoever comes off even slightly worse could end up (unlikely as it might seem at this point) in danger?

or they dont want the public to compare them yet?? of the three pasos would presume Pixies would be better as she is the female and the other pasos the celebs are male and think it is easier for her

At this point I am thinking (well at least hoping) Jake might be "fab-u-LOUS dahling"

Maybe the website made a mistake and pixie is still doing the tango

I guess we'll have a final confirmation tonight on Ian's warm up.

I think this is probably what happened - If I remember correctly, there was a mix-up last year, and we all thought Natalie was doing a Tango to Usher when in actual fact she was doing a Quickstep, so that's probably the case here.

Can anyone else not find the song list on the website anywhere?

I think she will come up with something decent, it is the ballroom dances where I think she is having a harder time getting it right.

Awful music - it's the kind of music someone with a tin ear and little love of dance would choose unless couples are being deliberately given dances and music to expose their limitations and / or make them look foolish.

Rapidly lowering my expectations for this weekend.
