I am just stuck as to who would be a decent replacement - I suspect if she went the programme makers would try and find someone similar - like the god-awful Cat Deeley!!!

Anyhow, thanks for livening the forum up a bit - certainly needs it at this time of year

I've always seen both points of view when it comes to our Davina - the good, the bad and the downright awful Without doubt, BB5 was not her finest hour (Jasongate ) - she's gotta keep a lid on her bias towards certain HM's this year (irritating to say the least).

But I'm happy to give her one last shot at it - I do still think her heart's in it, if only she can control her gob! But I'm more than willing to re-evaluate my opinion is she balls it up big time on BB6 ”

You`re a "happy haddock"

As for Davina........she`s used up all her chances as far as I`m concerned. At the start of last year`s BB5 I was willing to give her another chance. Not any more.

Give the job to Dermot - at least he`s reasonably impartial, knows how to conduct an interview, and can do it with good grace & a sense of humour.

I'll take that as a compliment!

As for Dermot - I do like the guy and believe he's got a real passion for all things BB, I'm just not sure I could see him fronting the whole thing (and I did get seriously bored with all the Cowboy Stu, Team Handsome crap on BBLB - now that was bias! ) But hey - he's far better than some of the names I've seen on this forum as suggestions!

That would be the impartial Dermot who said you can't help but like Nadia?

Dermon and Davina both make shows that seem intended only for viewers who share a certain view of the housemates.

And it's that attitude that produces some of the outstandingly bad interviews (such as Fed's and Jason's).

Good point there Veri....The shows do seem to cater for an assumed crowd that share the opinions expressed...Even the experts they bring on seem unable to express any impartiality...I warmly remember the "childishness" expert who was unable to comment on Nadia because she loved her.
