It's a bit overkill that all the soaps are doing big weeks. I know this isn't exactly new, but it seems to be more of a trend lately, to do a "big week" devoted to one story or a disaster or whatever. I hope the writers don't forget that they don't need to do it this way. It's a good option but won't work for every story or big reveal or disaster etc.

As long as an episode is well written and acted and exciting, that's all that matters! None of the big 3 soaps are doing this, and a lot of them have faults and some really in enjoyable characters which is a shame! Emmerdale excites the audience a bit more than the others IMO, and it was the most boring one 2007-2010 IMO! Week log events can get very boring towards the end of the week, especially if the week gets less and less eventful!

tonights episode of corrie was just un needed. half an hour of build up then she comes in and makes out she has grassed off screen.
she better be lying and they better be crocodile tears or I will be really annoyed. this was turning into a great storyline, corrie was getting better and they go and spoil it. |

It isn't EE wedding proved what a wash out it was, understandably episodes can be played out over the week but sometimes it's too excessive.
