EastEnders 30th-What would you like?
How would you like to see the BBC celebrate EastEnders 30th?
I think the BBC should make a big fuss tbh. The 25th Celebrations were brilliant but this one really has to be bigger. The 20th back in 2005 didn't have that big a fuss. I think we should have something like this. Saturday 14th February 6:00pm- 7:15pm EastEnders goes Strictly Come Dancing Past and Present faces compete on the dance floor to win the special trophy followed by a performance by Team EastEnders (Past and Present) as they perform 'Any one can fall In love' Sunday 15th February 7:00pm-7:45pm Pointless:EastEnders special 4 teams of EastEnders characters from each decade of the show battle it out for the best pointless answer Monday 16th February 8:45am-9:00am Breakfast We head over to Walford for a special interview from some of the cast and crew continuing all this week. 2:15pm-2:45pm EastEnders First ever episode 8:00pm-8:30pm EastEnders 8:30pm EastEnders viewer vote Vote for the 4 best EastEnders episodes (One from each decade) to be screened at 2:15pm the rest of this week. Tuesday 17th February 8:45am-9:00am Breakfast We head over to Walford for a special interview from some of the cast and crew continuing all this week. 2:15pm-2:45pm Classic EastEnders: 80's 7:30pm-8:00pm EastEnders Wednesday 18th February 8:45am-9:00am Breakfast We head over to Walford for a special interview from some of the cast and crew continuing all this week. 2:15pm-2:45pm Classic EastEnders : 90's 7:00pm -8:00pm The One Show :LIVE From Albert Square Matt and Alex host a very special One Show live from the home of EastEnders as it prepares to get ready for it's 30th tomorrow night. With cast interviews ,previews and a trip down memory lane Thursday 19th February 8:45am-9:00am Breakfast We head over to Walford for a special interview from some of the cast and crew continuing all this week. 2:15pm-2:45pm Classic EastEnders: 00's 7:00pm-7:30pm EastEnders:30th The BIG Countdown Live from Albert Square a head of tomorrows LIVE episode we will see how the cast and crew prepare to go LIVE aswell as fun and games and a count down to tonights episode the official Birthday 7:30pm-8:30pm EastEnders:30th Starting and ending with the original credits with a special EastEnders 30th Logo Friday 20th February 8:45am-9:00am Breakfast We head over to Walford for a special interview from some of the cast and crew continuing all this week. 2:15pm-2:45pm Classic EastEnders : 10's 8:00pm-8:30pm EastEnders goes LIVE 8:30pm-9:00pm EastEnders LIVE :The Aftermath Saturday 21st February 5:30pm-6:30pm Happy 30th Birthday EastEnders Featuring clips of EastEnders over the years,A real trip down memory lane Topped with 4 special BBC one Idents featuring cast from each decade. |

I would love a SCD special like the one for Sport Relief way back where sports stars who had done strictly (Denise, Roger, Darren and the 2 Marks) taught a new celebrity to dance. We could have former eastenders strictly stars teach an eastenders star to dance
Matt DiAngelo - teaching Samantha Womack Scott Maslen - teaching Maddy Hill Jake Wood - teaching kellie bright Letita Dean - teaching John Altman Kara Tointon - teaching Sam Speed Patsy Palmer - teaching Declan Bennett Obviously we could also have Chris Parker, Sid Owen, Gillian Taylforth, Jessie Wallace, Phil Daniels, Anita Dobson etc |

I would like releases of all the different years on DVD featuring all the episodes so people who weren't born prior to a time where they can remember all the episodes have the chance to watch all the episodes which they can't find (like I want to see sues, naimia, Michelle's exit Storylines and such but these are not anyway on the internet). These would have to be released every couple of weeks.
Big episodes airing on TV such as the vic fire, the first episode, tiffanys death and Danielle's death. Nick to be killed off in the live episodes Billy to be announced as Lucy's killer so his exit is comofirmed. Michelle, sue and little Ali to make a comeback around that time (maybe permanent for little Ali) and mark jnr to arrive as well as a grant comeback A ronnie and charlie wedding or a mick and linda one. |

Do you think they would do that alternative credits again with the viewers singing the theme tune?
Or what about theme tunes over the years. I think they should have the 85 theme. On Monday 93 Jazzy theme on Tuesday 1994-2009 theme on Thursday, Then I think they should surprise us with a new set of titles on the live episode day. |

I think something that catapults the show forward for the remainder of the year would be good! Nothing crime/ death related though, I think we're all pretty sick of that by now. I don't want any more murder mysteries for the remainder of this decade!
![]() I don't really want some big nostalgic celebration either, because it's always underwhelming to be left with 'the same old show' once whatever they've brought back, goes again within the week. However, if they can get FULL-TIME returns of some great former characters, I'm all for it! A new title sequence/ theme would be nice too! |

I definitely hope we have an EastEnders Live: The Aftermath like they did for the 25th.
I'd like to see game shows/quiz shows with some of the actors on as well. I love the EastEnders Revealed shows that they haven't done for a while as well, so I'm sure we'll get one of them. |
