I have never really liked Darcey much. First it was all the yaaahing, then I went through a phase of acceptance, but after last night I have come screaming back around to disgust again.
She needs to go.

IMO the mark she gave Alison compared to how she marked some of the others was a disgrace.

Exactly. Plus, Len also makes faces at Craig and even shouts at him - and he very rarely gives less than a 5, he gives that for them merely turning up.

The fact that this thread isn't very big means only one thing, Darcey isn't that hated.

Len is the most qualified, he has over 50 years experience as a gold medal winning, championship, ballroom dancer.

Not what I heard. But you may know better. There should have been room for them both as we had until recently at ROH with Rojo and Cojocaru. But Darcey was the Princess and although brilliant, was not in the same league as Viviana. Viviana dancing with Irek was just something else.

Why does commenting on someone mean you hate them? I queued for hours to see Darcey dance and thought she was wonderful. But - I am getting tired of the 'everyone must love me' Princess on SCD

Darcey is the least qualified judge. Yes, sure she is known for her wonderful ballet, but she knows nothing about ballroom and even less about Latin dance.

Craig & Bruno are "only" choreographers? Both were previously dancers, Craig had danced BB & Latin before, even if was sometime ago, and if nothing else because of the sheer number of series they've spent on Strictly, they have learnt a good deal.

Len? Why shouldn't he have been glad to have been offered the job in the first place? But if you think he actually needed the job, you are wrong. For many years before Strictly was even thought of, Len was doing very nicely thank you.

Craig really lacks ballroom technical knowledge or in fact is severely lacking in dance knowledge when dancers are in hold, not my opinion but proven in every series

Yeah I know...that's getting boring now. At least Craig is always honest and truthful and you can see that contestants really home in for his critique unlike her. Her lowest score always starts at a 5, if I recall correctly. Apart from that- she has beautiful legs!! Lol!

Darcys scores at the weekend were ridiculous and the side looks to Craig are getting on my nerves.

So ? He's not there to judge those things. Each of the judges brings special knowledge and experience and looks for specific kinds of talents in the dancers. That's what makes the panel special and balanced and entertaining. D'Arcy is a massive boost to the panel imho.
