I can't bear Mark either, I would rather vote for Judy and she is just dire.

Thankfully, you seem to be in the minority, as this poll clearly shows.

He is only 2nd best dance for his week, he will be back down where the belongs next week. He was overmarked by the judges to avoid the dance-off.

Sad how some people always fall back on that tired old excuse of the judges favouring a dancer who they don't happen to like.

I look forward to you eating your bitter words next week.

"I don't like somebody which makes them over-marked for several reasons which I shall now make up".

Sorry for having an opinion but it's not my logic, I don't like Judy or Scott but I didn't think they were overmarked to avoid the dance off.

I suspect you like Mark so you decided to have a go at my post because I don't but hey ho.

No the pathetic ones are those who are rude about those who disagree with them.

I wasn't rude at all, just stating the fact that Mark's popularity has shot up in this thread,

While you twisted it to say that the judges had favoured him to avoid being in the bottom two.

Don't worry yellowlabbie I agree with you - Mark is being hyped up but sadly I think the overmarking will continue next week because the producers want him there towards the end for the publicity he provides as their 'male eye candy' and yes I don't like him but that doesn't make my opinion invalid - I rather think those that resort to insults, ridicule and being over protective of their favourites are the ones with questionable opinions.

I didn't like Gregg Wallace or Scott either but they generally got the low marks and crticism on their performances they deserved and have now thankfully been booted off.

By the way I happen to really like Frankie and I wouldn't mind if she wins at all but I thought the 10 for her tango was a tad excessive.

I'm not biased towards any particular couple to the point where I ignore bad dances, so this is a genuine vote for my favourite dance on the night. Therefore I have to vote for Frankie & Kevin, who were by far the best (aside from the faffing at the end).

Mark & Karen were great too though.

I voted for quite a few couples at the weekend as I have my favourites, I voted for Mark for the first time his dance my favorite out of everyone.

Mark/Karen and Pixie/trent.
Pixies tango was better than Frankie who was overmarke. Did not deserve a 10.

Oh and that rubbish that the producers have cooked up about Mark Wright being 'novice' is beyond absurd - He spent 10 years training at the Sylvia Young stage school - A stage school which is known to include dance in it's curriculum - what a bunch of lying toe rags the producers are! All the girls have to take the flak for their training while Mark gets a 'novice' storyline!

I spent years doing Irish dancing during my schooldays, but was just as rubbish as any other novice when I took up ballroom & Latin.

Don't lump 'the girls' together either - Caroline has actual ballroom and Latin training, so clearly does have an advantage. The others are perhaps being unfairly labelled ringers, but given their day jobs it's hardly surprising that people think Frankie and Pixie have too much dance experience - they've been dancing day in day out for years, which is different to Mark's theatre school training 20 years ago with a long football gap in between.

If you simplify it all too much and simply say "X has had dance training in the past", then you could probably say half the contestants are ringers. It's more complicated than that.

It's a complete an utter lie to call him a 'novice' . Sylvia Young is not a run of the mill stage school - it has a proper dance curriculum and he spent 10 years training there - that is not a small period of a 25 year olds life! The 'acting' training would have also come in handy to for something like strictly too.

And it's not me lumping the girls together as 'ringers' - it's the meida in general - they've all had to take flak for it........yet Mark gets a pass and 'novice' storyline from the producers!

What rubbish. Frankie is very popular in this forum and hardly receives criticism. Whereas I see so many posts about Pixie saying "She's good and all, but I can't get into her" - no one can say why, they just don't like her. Or she gets moaned at for having dance experience. No one has a go at Frankie for that as well.

I just feel that the show is setting up Frankie as the winner.

But people on this forum try to lump Frankie and Pixie together which is not fair. I don't see how the show is setting Frankie up as the winner when overall she's been doing as well or slightly less then Pixie.

Thank you. I agree about the 10 for Frankie but I think the marking has generally been all over the place so looking back at past marks they had to give her a ten. It was the best dance of the series for me but then I am biased
