1. Caroline's hips - don't know whether it was supposed to be Samba or Disco, but they were good!

2. Maybe unkind, but I want to see them telling the guy tasked with Alison's entrance - especially if they do it like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-viobgagnok

3. Could they not zoom out so we could see the 3 smug faces every time Darcey says "The boys are right."?

4. Surely The X-Factor must have been able to beat that?

5. See? - they should have kept Anton in the dog costume, then we wouldn't have had a no-show on the dogography.

1. If we have to have a Halloween theme why can't we have brilliant dances like Derek Hough and Ricki Lake's Psycho Tango?

2. Why can't we steal Derek Hough?

3. Frankie's music was terrible.

4. Bruno is rude and irritating.

5. Darcey should just hold up a 7 paddle for everyone and be done with it.

Marc Bolan was beautiful (and I say that as someone who likes Pasha )

I thought he looked like Fred West

Lot of assumptions about a relationship based on a throwaway comment in an interview. She seems nothing but supportive and encouraging, happy for him to do well.

My 5..

1) Mark seems like a really hard working, likeable guy. He is the most improving IMO, and is joy to watch.

2) The music is all over the place.

3) I loved Frankie and Kevin, they seem to have a great partnership too.

4)the lack of showmance sl has made this season a lot more pleasant to watch.

5) I felt bad for Steve, it could've been excellent.

^^ This! My mum said he looked like Marc Bolan in that wig! I wondered why no-one else had said so until now!

1. Completely bored of Alison, the huge grin didn't work for me and over marked yet again.

2. What I knew of Mark, was none too keen, but I think he is showing the most improvement and immersion in his dancing and I enjoy watching him.

3. Frankie, meh, don't think it was a ten.... feels to me she is dancing by numbers and I don't get a feeling of true immersion with her.

4. Sunitra, too much flaffing around, when she did dance it seemed too slow, too laboured and disjointed.. but she looked lovely again.

5. Enjoy watching Pixie and Caroline...Caroline yet again got the short straw on the costume front.

1 Frankie didn't look like Frankie. How much does a hairstyle change a person, huh?
2 Song choices very poor indeed. Dreadful. Not a criticism of the musicians btw.
3 Like Zoe but prefer Claudia. I reckon the BBC could interchange the three of them weekly. That might be fun.
4 Those poor dogs!
5 Anton. Dear God. Why?

1. Too many dreadful music choices helped contribute to what was a fairly lacklustre night in terms of the dancing.

2. Even with a green face Frankie still looked beautiful.

3. I really like Frankie, but Kevin irritates me. While he seems a nice enough guy, he also comes across as being way too desperate and it even shows in his tendency to overdance.

4. Mark's being overmarked and overhyped. Yes, his Jive was good, but it wasn't that good. It certainly wasn't worth the 3 nines it got.

5. Zoe was much better in the Tesspit than she is on ITT, where her interviewing style is just way too hyper and OTT. In fact I'd gladly swap Claudia and her about in those roles (even though I'm perfectly happy with Claudia on the main show).

1. The Halloween show is my least favourite show. I think it's even worse than Wembley. I think this every year.
2. I hated the music.
3. I hated the costumes and make up (especially Steve and Ola's and Pasha's).
4. I thought Zoe was great. I can't prefer anyone over Claudia, because I love Claudia. But I'm delighted for Zoe that she got to show how good she is - they should be lining up to give her live TV jobs now.
5. It was a show where all my favourites took a step backwards and the ones I'm less keen on were excellent. I try and be sporting about that and be happy for them. I try.

I look forward to a proper show next week.

1. Alison and Steve vastly over marked.
2. Frankie looked like Kelly Brook. She should grow her hair too.
3. Judy looked stunning.....glad she's still there.
4. The samba by Mark was better than his jive.
5. Weird seeing Tess look so small.

I kinda wanted Steve in the dance-off (as a Steve appreciator) just to see that Charleston as it was meant to be. It really his worst dance, but it had the capacity to be his best.

1. Len would have saved Scott because of the 'Foxtrot elements.' Barf.

2. Seeing Craig literally questioning his life choices when Scott's mum hassled him for being mean was interesting. Also, it must be rigged, they interviewed the DO mums, call OFCOM!

3. Where's the real Mark?

4. Some of Tess' jokes were actually well-timed and funny

5. Mmm, guyliner + Heathcliffe costume: first time I've really appreciated Alijaz's unique talents, ahem.

1. Mark isn't being overmarked, and he's probably the most improved dancer out of everyone left in the competition. But I still don't think he'll make the final.

2. Whoever designed Steve and Ola's hair and make-up should be sacked.

3. Whoever was responsible for that horrible arrangement of Defying Gravity should also be sacked.

4. Someone needs to teach Darcey that better dances deserve higher scores, not the same score as a dance that was far inferior.

5. Zoe should present every week, but in place of Tess, not Claudia.

and a cheeky 6th because it relates to the results show: well done Janette and Alijaz for the pro dance - one of the most beautiful there's been in a long time.

1. I think Caroline's samba could have been great if the singing and the costumes hadn't been so awful. And the disco intrusion.
2. Bruno was totally right about his Scott comment "It's Strictly No Dancing".
3. Frankie looked the prettiest ever, not even kidding. That music for the tango however, not so good.
4. Mark was overmarked (ah!) but it was still a good dance and he seems extremely motivated.
5. I am a big Claudia fan but Zoe was a good replacement, she was funny and engaging. Her and Tess next to each other doesn't work though, they are too physically similar.

1. I hope some people feel a bit ashamed of themselves and some of the vitroil posted about him after Scott went out tonight. Seems he wasn't the egotistical monster some people claimed who 'didn't ever try to improve' and 'hated every moment of Strictly' and 'who thought he was incredible' like some people claimed.
He never was the best dancer on the show but clearly enjoyed it and got on well with Joanne and the last dance was his best I thought. Now can we all enjoy the show without a witchunt against one of the couples.

2. Zoe really surprised me. She was a real natural hosting the show and I warmed a lot to her. i find her a bit frantic on ITT but she was brilliant on the main show. I'm a Claudia fan ( hope her son gets well soon ttoo) but thought Zoe did a great job standing in for her. Have to admit I'd be a fan of a Claudia & Zoe team for Strictly.

3.There may have been a good dance for Pixie & Trent's Tango but I wouldn't have known as I was totally distracted by that singers.
And Steve and Ola's make-up did make me laugh. I couldn't tell whether they were happy or sad or whatnot.

4.Mark and Karen really are improving and I'm really warming to Mark which I never expected I would. Seems a genuinely nice bloke and really keen to improve and do himself proud and has improved so much since the start. Karen's beginning to irritate me though - calm down woman.

5. Frankie and Kevin were simply brilliant and I have to say they seem most likely to win at the moment. Their routines just seem to connect with me in a way that Pixie's and Caroline's just don't with me.

Bonus one: While I actually think he's often the best judge I wasn't a fan of Bruno's comments to Scott and Judy last night. They were probably the worst dancers left but I don't it's necessary to make a huge point of saying so and basically laughing at them over it. Both are trying and took it in good spirits but just seems a bit mean the way it was done.

1 - Big round of applause to Hair and Makeup - fantastic job as always with Halloween. In particular Frankie and Joanne, also Pixie's and Pasha's barnets.

2 - Well done Zoe - she was obviously a bit nervous to start with but soon settled in - nice to hear a bit from the celebs about how they felt they'd done for once...

3 - Loved Frankie and Kevin going on about a 'proper' 10 not being a 'Donny' 10. Also Kevin's impression of Mark was very good.

4 - Felt sorry for Steve - I think the judges were right, he was so much concentrating on the lifts that he forgot to do the steps..

5 - Finally, well done to Scott for a good leaving speech. I admit I haven't been his biggest fan but he and Joanne clearly get on well and as she's a newbie as well it's nice to see that her first experience (if it doesn't turn out to be her last as well) was a good experience for her.

Bonus one - get well soon Claudia's child

1: I was a bit disappointed Usually love Halloween week but found many of the dances lacking the usual mad energy.

2: Awful marking! Were the judges all channelling Donny?

And now for the good...

3: Frankie and Kevin's Tango was glorious, so glad it was kept until last.

4: Simon's makeup was beautiful.

5: My favourite danceoff of the series, both couples clearly loved their dances and were much better second time around.

*Sneaky 6: Such a shame we missed out on Claudia's Halloween wardrobe! *

1. Karen's total lack of personal vanity - that was the worst look ever and she didn't care.

2. Trent getting more adorable every week - so good at being 'electrocuted'.

3. Joanne surviving her first series, despite being given possibly the worst dancer ever.

4. Kevin sniffing Frankie's hair as the dance started - he soooo did. OK, it was fake hair, so it didn't count. No need to ring the Daily Mail Showmance desk.

5. Didn't even see Alison first time round, despite wardrobe dressing her as a tub of lard, thanks to Aljaz and his ........ socks. I guess it was the socks that did it. Or the patent shoes. Definitely not the breeches. No.

A little late as per but here we go!

1. Major shout out to the make up/hair department. They did a fabulous job which makes the Halloween special even more enjoyable for me

2. Frankie & Kevin's Tango was perfection. I'd have definitely scored a 10, the music, the costumes, the make up, the dance.. Amazing!

3. At the moment, my favourite partnership is Pixie & Trent by far. Every dance they do, I end up watching it again on YouTube. Special mention to Judy too, she may be the poorest dancer left but she's such a joy to watch.

4. Wasn't surprised to see Alison in the dance off, although I loved her number. I'm glad she's still there but I suspect she'll be a goner in the next two weeks

5. Quite happy about Scott leaving. I do like the guy and I've warmed to Joanne but his time to go was long overdue.

1. Alison heavily overmarked - cannot believe that Darcy, Len and Bruno gave her the same mark as Sunetra.
2. Scott was charming in defeat - and did actually dance something resembling a foxtrot.
3. Hate theme nights
4. Never watched TOWIE and never thought I'd warm to anyone from that type of reality show but Mark is winning me over.
5.Pleased Simon avoided the dance off this week.

1)Sack Tess, give Zoe her job.
2)Thank Christ Scott is finally out.
3) Alison will hopefully be next, she has not improved a jot.
4)I have warmed to Judy.
5) Most improved award definitely goes to Mark.

1 Is Alison loosing any weight
2 Who made that swing or was it what they use to put a whale back into the sea ?
3 Pixie still not likeable
4 I remember Abbey doing a very Disco style number and getting 10's Carolines was just as good
5 Mark Wright another great dance could go all the way ?

1. Pixie a fantastic dancer but I really cant take to her for some reason
2. Zoe - what a breath of fresh air. She came in a lifted the whole show
3. Alison has not progressed at all
4. Sunetra never gets the praise she deserves and is always under marked
5. Lost of praise and adoration heaped on Mark so therefore no tears

1. Looked like the producers just threw a bed sheet on Alison and cut out holes for her outfit
2. Zoe Ball is a goddess (like we didn't know that)
3. Disagreeable scoring from the judges, again. Good thing Sunetra is still in
4. Tango, the dance from Argentina about gauchos and the ladies of the night... and a Broadway musical about witches. Tomatoes, tomatos amirite
5.
Kevin: "A REAL 10!"
Zoe: "AND NOT A DONNY 10!"

I think the producers must have had it in for the poor lady tasked with singing it. We put the dog outside to do battle with fireworks in preference to being exposed to the carcrash that the high notes were obviously going to be!

Back on topic...

1 - Producers take note: "Never work with animals or children" has been a immutable law of showbiz since the silent movie era.

2 - I thought Scott shaded the Dance Off

3 - When Judy said she was the worst dancer, did she mean this series or ever? (She does make me laugh, though!)

4 - Frankie looks much better with long hair

5 - It seemed a shame not to leave Anton suspended over the floor for the whole show after the opening number.
