I didn't really feel it was much of a tango at all. Not a bad dance, but the music and the choreography made it seem more like a show dance.

Well they ignored it because unkind comments would have spoiled the spectacle of the grand end to the show - and just as mystifying is how they ignored Mark's jive when he never went up on his toes / balls of his feet once !

I'm just amazed she managed to look like a tango-er considering how unhelpful that music choice was.

That's my feeling too. It was a weird music choice for a Tango, but some how it did mange to ccome off like a showdance Tango. I loved it.

I agree that to me it seemed more of a production piece and not very tango at all, even though the tango steps were there it just wasn't a tango for me and I enjoyed it for what it was instead, but the judges have changed, especially Len who never liked the breaking of a dance (ie Natalie AS).

Marks jive was very flat footed for me and the lifting of his legs was forced and not because of correct jive movements.

Given the constraints of the week and the theming, that's not a bad result.

Me three. It was dreadful music but a stirring dance - I thought a real break through for Frankie. Kudos to Kevin. She's naturally talented but he's doing a great job with her whatever his detractors say imo. She was massively more polished tonight.

It was unreal the judges were not commenting on the production pieces, esp pixie where she got whole dance wrong..
