I suspect there may be votes based on the last minute alone in the long term. But on the whole, it was very tense and was littered with great conversations. Talalay got it right.

Great episode, but doesn't quite reach excellent for me. Will reassess after part 2 of the finale as that's when lots of questions will be cleared up (I hope). Loved that Missy is the Master even if I've not got a clue how he/she got from Gallifrey?
Never mind the reveal, the dialogue between the Doctor and Clara during and after Clara's blackmail attempt was superb.
Boring and plodding, with no real story, obvious twists and the last 15 minutes padded out with next to nothing to kill time until the next episode.
Average. Poor first 15 mins, better second 15mins and a great last 15 mins.
This episode took a while to get going, (I really am sick of the Clara/Danny thing) but once it did get going it was good.
I have everything crossed that Danny presses the delete button but I know he won't.

The episode started slow, but got better, and the reveal , for me, as fantastic. A lot of people are unhappy because they were hoping she wouldn't be the msater, but I'm happy because I wanted her to be from the first time I heard the idea suggested on here, as I am happy to have the character back in any form. I won't vote on the poll just yet as i've only seen half a story, but i'd say it's at the level of 'good' at the moment but I feel that part 1 was holding a lot back in term's of story because of the secrecy of the reveal, and that part 2 will hopefully let it 'all hang out' in terms of story and we will hopefully get a worthy finale.
although the scene was cool an tense i itself, I kind of consider it a bit of padding in terms of the peisode as a whole, as it didn't really add anything to the rest of the story to progress it, and it was an extra 5 mins or so that could have been used for explaining later in the episode had this scene not occured

It was sensational. Moffat has shown before that he will do what he considers to be the best story he can come up with and to Hell what self-important fans might think of it.
Wonderful. The finale is totally living up to my expectations.
Have a 'cool, tense scene' or have 'an extra five minutes or so for explaining later in the episode'... LOL. Doctor Who fans can be amusing. And they think they have the capacity to tell Steven Moffat how to write. Hilarious.

If it had recorded the whole episode I ay have an opinion, sadly we only got first half so will be looking for it later in the week to try and get the second half.
Voted for good. Would've voted excellent if they had kept the Cybermen a surprise. Once you knew they were in the episode then it was obvious what the skeletons were.

Its been rumoured about a Cybermen final for a long time now so it would have been hard to keep quiet.
Im just wondering if they will try and upgrade Missy/Mistress/Master?

I asked the Mods to merge it with the main thread but either the OP of the episode thread or the Mods ended up adding one to that thread about an hour after I posted this.
Anyone who voted here should go and vote in the other one as well.
