5ft 7 isn't what I'd consider 'tall'. I'm 6ft 1 and don't feel 'tall'.

I certainly wouldn't say it's too tall for heels, you see many women 6ft+ without heels anyway, it's not that unusual nowadays.
I'm 6'2" and I wear heels. I can't dance in flats, and heels make your legs look better. I don't wear anything above the knee though. Although I'm tall and a fairly slim 12-14, I have the ugliest knees ever (they look like cauliflowers) and do not want them on show. I don't wear anything high necked either as I have quite big boobs and high necks always make your chest look saggy and low.

I can barely walk in stiletto heels. I also never wear shoes with those pointy triangle toes. Every time I've tried on a pair I look down and think my feet just look stupid. They're fine on anyone else but I'm just not comfortable wearing them myself.

Also have large boobs and can't wear anything with those cross straps on the back, or any dress with spaghetti straps. I've bought strapless bras but they really don't give much support.

Oh, and longline bras. They just don't make them in my size. Only just recently have Curvy Kate decided to market the first ever longline bra that goes above a G cup but the ones available so far are ugly.

I am 6ft 1 also....glad we tall girls know the feeling 5 ft 7 is not that tall! I'd kill to be 5 ft 7!! lol.

I've bought 2.5" heel boots for a party this friday..........trying to pluck up the courage to wear them even though I'll stick out like a sore thumb....lol

My theory is, at over 6ft, you stick out anyway.... What's a couple more inches? Especially when it improves your legs?!

This is true...heels add instant "slimness" lol...I guess a couple inches are not important, in this case!

I never wear a heel of any kind. All my shoes are completely flat. Anything with a heel causes untold pain to the balls of my feet. You can actually hear them crunching as I walk. I have tried 'party feet' and anything else out there, and nothing works. The last time I tried a small heel was for a job interview a couple of months ago. It was only a smallish heel and the shoes were in my wardrobe from the last time I tried - but I actually fell over in the street .... I was mortified as everyone stepped around me sprawled on the floor

I struggle with dresses. I am a size 16 and I have a decent 'ish' figure. I go in and out in the right places. But I can never get a dress that fits. They are always too tight on the bust or the hips, or too loose on the waist. The main thing at the moment are how short most dresses are. I mean, not all of us have gorgeous legs that we want to show to the world.

I have a similar thing with blouses. I have a FF chest, and to get a blouse that shuts over those puppies is virtually impossible.

I agree, they make a ladies leg look great.
My daughter is 6 foot tall but will not wear heels as all her friends are small and she feels she towers over them.
Her partner is 5 foot 11 inches tall and he does not want her to be more any taller than him so she wears flats all the time.

That's a shame.... How old is she? It took me til I was 20 to be brave enough to wear heels. My BF at the time was 5'10" and was quite happy with my height!
