WHY would the Cybermen work with The Mistress?

Did they capture her and she came up with the "convert the humans" plan as a bargaining tool?

Did she approach them with her plan after she liberated the Time Lord Tech?

In her previous incarnation she teamed up with The Daleks to get to The Doctor, does he/she NEVER learn?

BTW, is there a chance The Mistress was still The Master before The Cybermen got their hands on him/her?
Moffat has said he's a completionist so I hope the end of the John Simm incarnation is covered somehow, even if its just the regeneration effect (without John Simm's image) and then Missy waking up.

The Master gradually realising he's regenerated into a woman is a scene that just HAS to be seen, please give us this Moffat!

That's one of the major questions I hope the next episode covers. Not in just a 'because they're evil!' hand wave but actually explains the whys and hows of this. That kind of depth is needed to really flesh these stories out and give them weight.

While it may be the case we don't know if Missy if the regeneration after "Simm" Master for all we know he/she could have regenerated a dozen times since then after all we all thought that McGann regenerated into Eccleston.

Ok I don't think they will do that but it is a possibility maybe that's where "timely wimey" comes in This Doctor is paying the price for what a future Doctor did to a past Master

This is true. However Moffat DID say he was a completist when it came to The Doctor's regenerations for the 50th so I hope that applies to The Master's too.

Basically I REALLY want the scene were The Master wakes up as a woman, that's going to be a RIOT

In the trailer there was a scene of what appeared to be Missy waking up - perhaps this is a post regeneration scene? or perhaps 'waking up' because it wasn't a regeneration as such but putting the Master into a body.

A lot of this was held back in part 1 because of the secrecy of the reveal, but now we know about 'missy' I expect we'll get all these answers next week. At least I hope so.

Has there been a trailer for next week I've not seen? Or was there a longer trailer for this week's ep that incorporated this?

Well last weeks trailer had bits that haven't happened yet i.e.. UNIT so I'm guessing it was a trailer for both.

Also, we have not yet seen an explanation of Mussy's 'I have chosen well' remark - presumably that is coming up next week too.

Clara attempted to betray the Doctor with her Tardis-keys ploy. I think it is likely that Missy has Clara deeply under her control, and probably fed the idea into her mind.

I am expecting a further betrayal next week.

I'm also thinking another question no-one has asked is "How are the daleks going to make their mandatory finale appearance this time?"

Why did Missy say that she chose Clara specifically?

S'funny really, when you think about it, this really has "The Master" written all over it. Well, the recent Master, at least.

I mean, he conned the last humans into attempting to reach Utopia, where they became the Tocklafane to survive, he conned 21st century humans into voting for him as a PM and then used the Tocklafane to con everybody into welcoming extraterrestrial visitors who ended up enslaving humanity.

Seems like the idea of collecting up dead people (somehow) and conning them into agreeing to become cybermen voluntarily would be right up his street.

Course, from his/her POV, he shouldn't have actually done that other stuff if Martha Jones' year-long crusade served it's intended purpose.

I wonder if these are going to turn out to be "proper" cybermen or whether they're just technology that The Master borrowed so he could use it to turn dead people into his private army?
If that's the case, maybe it'll end up with The Master being defeated but a bunch of his cybermen escaping to set up a new, independent, species of cybermen?

The next episodes has a lot of questions to answer. How did he escape Gallifrey? Wasn't he on his last regeneration? How did she know the Doctor who come to her? Did she set up Danny Pinks death? What the hell does she know about Clara etc

Lets hope it lives up to expectations.

No like The Doctor he got a new set as far as we know YANA was the first of that new set Simm the 2nd and unless there have been regenerations in between Missy is the 3rd.

On that note, I notice there are people saying that Danny isn't dead and it's just a trick.

Thing is, we've had Clara's old grannie (or whoever it was - the old dear from Benidorm) and the people at the school assembly commiserating with her over his death which would suggest that his body was scraped up off the road, taken to the local hospital and officially declared dead.
It shouldn't just turn out to be a case of The Master "teleporting" people away from situations of certain death, convincing them that they're dead and persuading them to become cybermen.

Course, maybe Danny was deliberately targeted in the knowledge that pissing Clara off would be a good way to get The Doctor's attention, explaining all the "I knew it was a good idea to choose you" stuff.

Be interesting to see what the explanation is for the place where Danny ended up in relation to where DW and Clara were.
I mean, Danny was, apparently, taken to some kind of hollowed-out futuristic mega-city while DW and Clara ended up getting transported from 21st century London to, erm, 21st century London.

If that's the case could The Doctor use it to bring him back if he was killed by or under the orders of Missy and wasn't supposed to die in the original history.

I hope not.

Personally, I've liked Danny less and less throughout this series but, even so, I wouldn't want to see a character killed off just cos I don't like 'em.

I just think that it's nice when, sometimes, you don't get the fairytale ending and it doesn't all turn out alright in the end.

Course, when you think about it, Danny does seem to have all the attributes that might be desirable in a companion for Capaldi's Doctor.
He's physical so he can do all the running around, he's outspoken, critical, judgemental, moral and pious. All areas where the Doctor is notably lacking.

Early on in this series, didn't Moffat respond to criticisms about the lack of a young, athletic, Doctor by saying that issue would be resolved "soon"?

Maybe Danny will come back, realise that the universe does need the Doctor to go around sticking his oar into things and it'll be Clara who actually carks it?

Ii don't care either way but for Orson either Danny has a kid already (could that be the family he has spoken about ) Clara is already pregnant or he comes back.

Presumably that will be dealt with next week.

What's the point of World Domination? Where's the fun in taking over a planet, exterminating all the humans and having a vast emotionless army hanging around doing nothing? Where's the fun in that?

My thought is that it's all The Master and that she roped the Cyberman into helping whether they wanted to or not, she always was kind of hypnotic...

Perhaps Missy has left Gallifrey on a mission to restore it.

The Doctor couldn't as the Daleks would have destroyed it, but perhaps Missy has struck a coalition or an agreement with the Cybermen to work together to bring Gallifrey back and take over the world or something like that.

And this information came from where? There was no indication on The Master's regenerations in the YANA episode, YANA was The Master's cover story to hide himself from the Doctor and had nothing to do with new regenerations or anything.
