Most definitely. Zoe has much more charisma and charm than the wooden Tess

No, Tess isn't the best host but I prefer her to Zoe. If Saturday night was any indication, Zoe doesn't seem to know what she's doing or how to speak properly.

zoe and Claud make a good two some Tess poses most of the time, love the other two's naturalness, neither of them have to try they are naturals, Tess has to pose all the time, its one big act.

Like so much in Strictly - they have it totally right.

Tess appeals to a massive audience who like to see a feminine slightly air headed girly type. Zoe and Claudia are both intelligent tom-boys and you can only have one of them.

By splitting them between the floor and balcony the BBC achieves the perfect combo.

No, it is Claudia she should be replacing. Hard to believe anyone could be less funny and irritating.

Yes. I would prefer to see Claudia and Zoe each week. Stick Tess on ITT.

Should Zoe replace Tess?

I voted yes, but after reading the forum I agree with the FM's that said Zoe should replace
Mrs Winkle... who imho is embarrassing to watch.

I agree with this. I sometimes wonder if she's on drugs, and at times have found her impossible to watch. I hope it's just nerves and will settle down, because it is nice to have the show presented by a "fan".

I do love Claudia. She makes everything funny and light-hearted, and shows a genuine interest in the dancers and choreography.

I couldn't be bothered with Bruce and his cringe-worthy, lame catch-phrases, so Tess, for me, is miles better, although she doesn't have the same quiet authority that Bruce showed on rare occasions when he felt that one of the judges (i.e. Craig) had overstepped the boundaries in making needlessly cruel comments. That, for me, was the only positive thing that Bruce brought to the show. At present Tess is protesting at everything that the judges say - which is just silly. She needs to pipe down, and save her opinions until after the judges have spoken, unless someone has been cruel in a personally hurtful way, which will give more weight to anything she does say.

I voted no - not because I don't like Zoe, I do, but you need some balance.

With Tess and Bruce, Bruce was the unpredictable one and Tess the (in the nicest way) slightly boring well-behaved one.

Now you have Tess out front, still being the well-behaved one but with 'Naughtly Little Sister' Claudia to balance it out and Zoe is much more a 'Claudia' than a 'Tess' figure.

If you get rid of Tess and have Zoe and Claudia together it would be too over the top - it would be like all the kids in the neighbourhood have overdosed on Haribos.

Someone should replace Tess but not Zoe.

Admittedly nerves didn't help. Zoe looked terrified and out of her depth at the start of the show with her shaky rictus smile, dry mouth and stumbling over the autocue. And she came over as a bit insecure up in the 'tesspit', needing reassurance, etc. As you'd expect going from a small studio gig to the nation's highest watched live show. Poor love. I'm sure she'd settle in but IMO she doesn't have the star quality to front a primetime show on this big a stage.

On a side note, I'm shocked by how many people don't like Claudia. She's a rare creature on mainstream TV: a funny female presenter. In terms of quick-witted comedy chops she can hold her own against the Graham Nortons and Jonathan Rosses of TV. I know her quirky style might not be everyone's bag but I applaud the Beeb for showcasing a woman who's more than a pretty face.

Tess acts the parr. Zoe is just herself. Tess always seems so false and scripted. Prefer Zoe by a mile.

This sums it up for me.

Tess and Claudia/Zoe are being asked to do two different jobs. Everything that makes the latter two better suited to being the off-the-cuff ad-hoc Clauditorium interviewers would be lost and wasted doing Tess's job.

Tess is never going to be a 'natural' the way the others are but she could be a perfectly competent straight-woman presenter who can read scripted links and keep the show to time. She needs the director to stop forcing her to do Brucie-type interjections though; she never showed much sign of wanting to comment or butt in at the judges' desk when she stood in for Bruce previously, so I'm convinced it's directorial interference that's made her start now. Bruce did things Bruce's way and for all his deterioration in the latter years, he was a light entertainment one-off. Tess needs to be allowed to find her own feet and present the show her way and not be forced into being Brucie-lite.

I'm very gradually warming to Tess. I think she is veeeery sloooowly coming into her own since Bruce left, and she does a good professional job.

I think she is pretty much herself on the show, it's just that 'herself' is a more sensible, straight-laced kind of persona than either Zoe or Claudia. Both Zoe and Claudia have a natural quickness and wit that Tess doesn't - she's just a different personality type, that's all, but no less suited to hosting the show.

I think she does a grand job now, especially now Brucie's out of the way and she can take charge a little bit more.

I thought Zoe did a good job of filling in, but I prefer the Tess/Claudia combination - Tess makes a good 'straight man' to Claudia's daftness.

In my opinion Zoe came into the show last night like a breath of fresh air. She was a sharp and bright presenter and showed Tess up as being rather wooden and dull.

I voted no because Tess's more inderstated style of presenting is a good combo with Claudia zaniness. Zoe and Claudia would be too much and I suspect the novelty of Zoe would wear off quite quickly if she was holding the front job.

Let's have Tess on ITT, Claudia in the pit and Zoe with the judges.

Yes but not with Tess, but with Claudia.

I thought Zoe was much better and Claudia comes across really nervous on the main programme but quite opposite on It Takes Two and the follow up programme to Fame Academy.
