Yes, it was, in my opinion one of the most disturbing moments from the episode and maybe one of my favourite moments from the show. I suggest you watch it again

My son reckons it looks like a Cyberman's eye.

Wasn't that the idea? I assumed it was deliberate because right before the Cybermen reveal the doctor said he was missing something and that's when the doors closed to reveal the 3w shaped windows. Which looked a lot like a Cybermen eye. Your son got it I think!

And the Cybermen theme played at that moment too. Shame the Cybermen reveal wasn't much of a genuine surprise in the episode for most!

Can we call it the 'eyedent ' instead of logo?

It's a monocle. I thought that was fairly obvious!

I wonder if the logo has popped up unexpected in any other episode?

The GUS episode on the train was investigating how this Mummy was 'immortal' something which might be of benefit to the Mistress and co.

Perhaps they created the Solar Flare to see how it would be defended? Or to gather more dead.

No idea about the Heist though.
