Reflection in Danny's iPad?
Mcrlad

At the end of the episode, Danny's finger hovers over the delete button briefly and his face is reflected in the screen. Then as his finger moves away the angle of iPad changes slightly and reveals the reflection of a woman. Doesn't look like Clara to me.

Anyone know who it was?

It was the child he killed by accident when he was a soldier.

It wasn't a woman, it was the boy he had killed when he was a soldier who he met earlier in the episode (I think &#128559

'If the dead still feel then why is the boy I grenaded not in eternal suffering, screaming in agony?' thought Danny as he caught the reflection in his eyePad. 'Come to think of it, why can't I feel the pain of the fatal injuries I sustained when a car came noislessly out of nowhere and killed me?'. It suddenly occured to Danny that he could not possibly be dead and that Seb was tricking him in someway..

Saw the reflection now - so I assume he "arrives" their as part of the Mistress/Cyberman NLP style "make this human press delete" by racking up all the emotions and fears wrapped in his mind - or maybe the boy actually comes there to stop Danny from pressing delete. I'm assuming the former.

****

Clara stared despondently at the screen she had turned off, remembering how her last telephone call to Danny had been cut short, remembering the mind numbing shock of
that moment. If she closed her eyes, she could still hear the screech of locked brakes, the blaring of horns, and that awful thump...

Except...

She hadn't actually heard any of those things...

Had she?

It was a bit of a weird cliffhanger to end on.

Did we see Danny get hit by a car? Can a robot actually "die" from being penetrated in such a way as he did, after all he has no heart?! Did we even see the police officer blown to smithereens?

I think the reflection of the boy is going to make Danny reconsider everything he's been told by Seb. For one, why is this boy still here despite the fact that he'd have been blown to bits? If cremation effects them as suggested, the boy should be in eternal pain.

"He had authority over the tombs buried in the earth, and assisted in the ritual of weighing the heart of the deceased in the Halls of MaŽat. The justified dead were given words of power which allowed them to ascend to the sky, while those whose hearts were weighed down with guilt were trapped in the earth by Geb"

Geb is the Egyptian God of the Earth. His name has been spelt through the years as Geb, Keb or, in later years, Seb...

I thought that it looked a little like the young Master - see:
