No. Absolutely and catagorically it should never happen. I don't want to see that happen even if Hell finally freezes over. It would be a terrible decision that the BBC would regret for ever. I can't think of anything worse, even bringing in Ann Widdecombe as a judge would make more sense. Destroy the thread, exterminate, exterminate.
She should if this is what is going to happen every time the young Winlkes are sick and this is exactly what they get for deciding to have two female presenters hosting one of their most high profile shows - I can hardly imagine a male presenter taking a week off if his kids were ill - it would never happen - Bet Bruce was watching with interest at home!
Can we have another answer- to replace Tess? I don't understand how she can be an annoying presenter, but lovely in person. She needs to tone it down, stop trying to make jokes and butting in when the judges are judging.

Sarcasm detection?
I'm sure it would happen, depending on how ill the child was.
How DARE the BBC have two walking uteruses (uterui?) as the presenters for their biggest show. I say we have two men since men are better at wearing sparkly dresses and reading an auto-cue.
I just wish there were two presenters who were good at presenting...
Absolutely not. Zoe did well but I love Claudia's fun. I wouldn't watch the whole programme on a regular basis without Claudia (I didn't watch regularly before she started - just tuned in for one or two dancers I liked).
Zoe is an all "ME, ME ,ME, I'll do all the talking, how dare you interrupt me" type of presenter who is OK ish in small doses, but infuriating after a short while.
