Sophie's was the best, followed by Denise and if Dani's Charleston/QS fusion could count then that too.

Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan gag ether best ever Charleston performance for me which is why I'm so surprised with last nights effort by Steve and Ola but I think she made it to hard for steve to follow which may have put them in jeopardy this week.

SEBs - hands down.

Kimberley Walsh's Charleston was also of the best.

I've liked a few Charlestons on SCD.

Favourite is Louis and Flavia which I still watch now and then, but also enjoyed Chris/Ola, Sophie/Brendan, Jimi/Flavia, Kimberley/Pasha, when they were danced.

Another one for Sophie and Brendan. Just watched it again and it's still exhilarating.

Laila and Anton are a close 2md behind Sophie and Brendan who did the best charleston ever

I hadn't seen that before - Artem was great for doing something different, that was really good.

I thought SEB was totally over-rated.

Sophie without a doubt. Nobody comes close. I never liked Kartem's routine. It wasn't that good.

Considering it was only week 4 I think it was just as wow as SEBs

DVO's Egyptian Charleston and Sophie E-B's stand out for me. My favourite theme was Pasha's Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines but he really needed a pro partner for that one.

Looks like more of a Lindyhop than a Charleston, though.

I love Chris and Ola's Charleston, it was a lot of fun and they had such a brilliant partnership.

In terms of the technically better ones, Kara and Artem's was great.



Poor Ola having you hold a grudge against her for 5 years for something she didn't even choreograph... in fact if I remember correctly, the week Chris learnt the Charleston was also the week Ola learnt the Charleston!

YES! Packed with authentic content and Anya was adorable, not all the pros 'get' it (and I doubtanu swing dance pros would get ballroom or Latin with minimal training either).

I wish Vincent and Dani had done a whole Charleston, not a fusion. Of course, they were fused with Quickstep, which is where Charleston was absorbed into ballroom anyway.

Natalie and Artem and DVO and James (and I found them rather difficult to like) are my runners up.

SEB and and Brendan had so little authentic period content as to be a joke, but she's so gorgeous and it was so early on (and it made the cooler than thou I've princess persona melt) so I can see why it's so popular.

I know it wasn't technically the best, but Chris Hollins' and Ola's was the one I most enjoyed watching and made me smile. Technique wise, I liked Sohie EB's and Brendan's
