Apparently they were close until Alexandra won and then Ruth became jealous. A journalist had dinner with them and commented how Ruth was quite openly annoyed with the attention Alexandra was getting

I'm pretty sure they have been fine for a while (if they ever actually fell out in the first place...it's not like you can really trust the british press and I've only ever heard Ruth sing her praises).

They both sang at an event together a couple years ago and seemed fine then ...so this isn't their first meeting since the X Factor tour either.
