Sorry..I fail to understand how that awful cocophany of wailing, whooping and light shows can be " on in the background".!

I've just noticed the TV listings for this Sunday's results shows and, due to a combination of an FA Cup match on BBC1, plus some Remembrance Sunday programming, there's an overlap between the two results shows. Strictly is on 7.45 - 8.30pm, and XF has it's usual 8-9pm show. XF always has a boost in the last 15-30 mins of it's show, where people tune in purely to see who's gone out. I just wonder how much it'll affect either show with the overlap. XF do have the mighty(!) One Direction to draw viewers in, plus Sam Smith; Strictly has Katherine Jenkins and a Remembrance Sunday dance. They're certainly catering to their demographics, if nothing else! The later start for Strictly probably won't do it much harm, but it'll be very interesting to see the final figures.

Hope SCD wins the tv awards whenever that comes on. They always get my vote.

I don't. I'm a Strictly fan only.

It is amazing how easy it is to ignore it when you are engrossed in Strictly discussion
