I don't know the emotional inhibitor worked on Danny when he never had a personality to begin with. Incredible stuff, that Cyberman technology...

OK so I was wrong, but aren't I a better writer than Moffat?
If Missy had been the Masters tardis with the Master using miniturisation technology being revealed and Missy dematerialising at the end it would have been most satisfying.
As it stands I think Michelle Gomez was geat with the role she was given I just wish she'd been the Rani or a new female timelord character without introducing the bugbear that most mle and female fans have as maintaining the Doctor as male. No need to tease and introduce this PC ness. It is not relevant and has not enhanced Moffats reputation with the fans. I hope ths is so poorly received that hey renege on this and explain it away by saying the Master stole a female body, something the Doctor would never do. As for Moffat, thanks for few decent ideas but as a show runner you court controversy too far to the detriment of the programme-who was the last showrunner to do that to that extent? Johnn Nathan Turner, and we all know how that ended dont we?

Donna was fantastic because she was what a companion is supposed to be. A relatable character that the viewer is meant to be basically watching through the eyes of. Much like Rose and Martha before her. Someone who doesn't know what's going on.

I've never remotely felt that with Clara at any point since she arrived and Danny Pink was quite possibly the most dislikable 'good guy' in any TV show I've ever watched.

TO repeat myself

"Explain these points.....

-How to Danny and Clara have kids now
-Why did Missy pick Clara
-Why can Cyber men now fly
-If (as fan theory is having it) Missy was teleported and not disintegrated, why did the Brig save her
-Can you take Santa Vs Aliens seriously (even given the tradition of slightly silly Xmas specials)

And one more point

"al those people suffering in Dalek camps, you can save them now"
Cybermen get trashed by Daleks... would not work even if the Doc was so inclined to try"

yet you reply

It's like you knew who my favorite character was.

I thought Donna was a brilliant character and by far the best companion in NuWho, and perhaps ever.

I get the feeling Moffat thinks the Doc being female is inevitable and he wants to be the one to suggest it. But I don't think he will personally pull the trigger. Who ever does that will be a brave showrunner. He is the general. Won't get his hands dirty,”

Yes i can see that one line triggering off a lot of anger in fandom due to what it is hinting towards. Moffat is a troll.

Why did the bodyguards just stand there like idiots when Missy was counting down?

Those are just 4 questions I've thought quickly at the top of my head.”

First question, as seen last week, Danny chose not to delete his emotions. Brig probably did the same.

Questions 2 & 3, extremely likely that these are going to be answered later, since it seems Master actually teleported at the time of being shot.

Question 4, the guards probably thought it was rankings of a mad woman. That's probably the only valid question out of the 4

-Clara may already be pregnant, as I say above.
-Missy explained why she picked Clara, you obviously weren't paying attention.
-Cybermen can fly, so what? So can Daleks.
-Brig didn't save her. Brig shot at her, but Master used the moment to teleport, a safe escape where the Doctor won't chase her when he finds out she lied about where Gallifrey was.

There you go.

Well, if you look at what I've written...

Huh? The Brig didn't save her, he saved Kate, his daughter.

What do you mean by time? Normally when timelords get shot they regenerate.

It still doesn't make sense.

With what and how did she hyponotise both of them in quick succession?”

Because Love isn't an emotion, it's a promise. The Doctor even said that in the episode…

There was no time for Missy to regenerate. Time Lords and Ladies have always been able to be killed if it's instant. And as others have said she might have teleported away anyway.

Just to say that I'm NOT a Moffat fanboy but I do think he's a much better writer than many give him credit for (not perfect, but good). Anyhow ...

-How to Danny and Clara have kids now - Who's to say Clara isn't already pregnant?
-Why did Missy pick Clara - Because she felt she could control/influence the Doctor to bring him to the Nethersphere at the appropriate time. Missy needed the Doctor to be there without actually inviting him herself
-Why can Cyber men now fly - Possibly with the help of Time Lord technology? Heck, if they can make a TARDIS travel through time, they can probably manage something as simple as flight
-If (as fan theory is having it) Missy was teleported and not disintegrated, why did the Brig save her - Missy teleported herself?
-Can you take Santa Vs Aliens seriously (even given the tradition of slightly silly Xmas specials) - No, although it *is* the Xmas episode, which I've never taken particularly seriously.

Not saying any of those explanations are right, but there are certainly plausible explanations out there.

Wow..unbelievably bad in so many ways.

An embarrassing end to an awful series.

Moffat should have gone long ago.

His emotions were 'deleted' by the sonic...how reliable would this be..may have just been a temporary action

Thank you

Nope,as established in previous series, also they can refuse to regenerate as The Master has before (more likely she teleported)

The Master was always the king of hyponotism,we weren't watching her all the time

Also, when Missy gave The Doctor that bracelet and he started doing this big speech with the dramatic music in the background, I got seriously pumped up, ready for him to turn the tables and save the day... instead he throws the bracelet to that boring arsehole Danny Pink for him to save the day instead.

Are you kidding me? Has The Doctor actually saved the day himself at all this series?

Why did the Master need the Doctor to go to the Nethersphere exactly?

Dr Who has never really made sense, but not making sense doesn't mean it doesn't make good television. I enjoyed tonight's episode, though found the ending a bit flat. I'm probably in a minority in liking Clara and I didn't really mind Danny either. Peter Capaldi had a tough job, coming as an older actor to the role, and IMO he's done pretty well.

I'm thinking more the parents reactions and how it will be explained. but I suppose in the Dr Who universe it wouldn't seem odd.

I loved Donna. I loved her and I loved the relationship between her and Ten.

Really couldn't warm to Amy or Clara. They had no magic to them.
