I cannot associate amazing voice with rap.

The other thing they did that was quite noticeable was trying to prove to the young girls out there that they were the new cool band to love. The VT made a point of showing them being besieged by a cluster of fans. Hardly on the same level as One Direction but Cowell wants to project an image of success amongst their target audience.

You left the "c" off the last word in that sentence.

The only way I'd describe those voices as amazing is in the sentence "It is amazing that such weak singers have made the live shows".

I agree and with the possible addition of Barclay. The other 3 are completely pointless and add absolutely nothing. As a 4/5 piece they could have been in with a shot but they're doomed now

They are shi*!!

There is 8 of them and they should be getting through the weeks with flying
colours not being in the bottom two twice!!

Ever notice that when James starts to sing there is always 1 or two of the other boys trying to put their arm around his shoulder or pat him on the back LMAO! They appear to do this in every single performance it makes me laugh so much! You simply should NOT be doing that!! Surely they can find something better to do with their hands than to constantly try to hug and cuddle their star player while hes trying to make you all sound decent! I really feel sorry for James he would have done so much better in the boys category.

One Direction's appeal was that they were all kids and looked like kids

Stereo Kicks look older. Even the youngest member looks about 20

Only as far as the show is concerned they may be.Apart from Fluer and Lauren they are the only other act that can work in real terms. They dont need to win. You can say Louis Tomlinson and Nail Horan in 1D are pointless.A band is a mixture of strong and weak singers. If they were all like James,it wouldnt be a band.

I have never heard 2 members of Take That sing lol

Currently it is quite obviously working against them, now if they had chemistry and talent that would be a different story. I don't think they have any potential to be a big hit. I am sure Simon knows this by now but it is his own ego that wants to prove himself right. Even when he knows he has no chance.”

Where was the chemistry with 1D? Do you know how much stick and negativity they received on this very page on DS??? They were very unpopular and called all names under the sun on this forum.I hope you have been long enough on this forum to know its double standards.

1D were vocally weaker.Liam was a reject from the year before. They can be all praises on this forum for now but there was none at this time on the XFactor. They benefited from being the only boy band at the time to avoid the bottom 2.It was nothing to do their talent or charisma.Simon was their mentor which helped with song choices.

Now this I agree with. 1D were always terrible on the live shows and were saved by backing tracks and for some reason, people's lack of concern about the fact that they have no performance skills whatsoever. Totally right place, right time.

Just check out Louis' audition or Zayn's little strop at having to dance. So undeserving.

The songs they have chosen themselves with Louis is when they have done well eg Run and the Beatles Melody. They havent had anyone else so you dont know what another person can do.

While it's true that they don't need to win to have success after the show is over, it really doesn't bode well for their future that they've been in the bottom two twice by week 4. Has there ever been a contestant with such a terrible track record on the live shows actually do well?

You only have to look at Union J who have had mediocre success after the show - two low selling top 10s and an album that only barely went silver. And they look finished now as their last single had the impressive chart run of 9 > 74. If they managed to stay our of the bottom 2 until live show 4, it doesn't bode well for Stereo Kicks.
