If only it was that simple.
With IOS, a mate of mine had notification to update to the latest IOS on his Iphone, he ignored it and had nothing since.”
Always 'a mate of mine'. Well ive had both and both did the same.

Make up my mind? Learn to read more like!
Why do you make things up?
Apart from the colour, settings etc is EXACTLY the same. Everything is in the same place as it always has been on Android.
I said to install nova to get it back to the kitkat look sine youve done nothing but whine about the colour scheme of Lollipop.

“windows 8 crashed on my computer due to a hardware problem with my memory, since i took the stick out, things have been fine. I can not see how you have not had any crashes unless you are not using it for much. all computers crash, certainly when they are being pushed.”
Right, so it crashed due to a hardware failure.
And for the record, no, every computer does NOT crash. What utter rubbish.

“Windows 8.1 does what I need, as i said i have it set up as i want it now, with a nice start menu, updating to 10 would no doubt get rid of that start menu and replace it with their own complete with tiles.
I am glad that Ms have seen sense and saw that the start screen have not gone down well, but they still seem to think that we want the silly metro apps.”
Uhu...Suites me and millions of others just fine.

“I have a battery saver, not that I use it much, I expect that is what they say about better battery use, unless they managed to to get the OS managing apps better.”
I suggest you read and learn before you make weird statements like this.

“i see that Lollipop is running the Art runtime as default instead of Dalvik , which is fine, but there are still some apps that do not like Art. I been using Art for months and it been working fine, then Halifax updated their app and it all went haywire, I swaped back to Dalvik and all is fine again.
How many people will know how to do that when they have problems?”
Jesus!! Is there nothing you wont bloody moan about? That was ages ago. Ive been running Halifax, RBS and Barclays on ART since it appeared in Kitkat on the Nexus.
Sure, some apps didn't work, however, i don't have one app out the 60 or so i have that doesn't work on ART and hasn't for a long time.

“It seems most of the new features are for the lock screen and the bluetooth security lock, something which I would not use since I do not have any bluetooth products I carry around with me.”
Most? Are you sure about that?

“You like the new look UI, it is a good thing we all do not like the same thing, the problem is to many people just go with the flow and accept things.
That is why we are puppets to big companies.”
Oh my god.... See what you have made me say? I hate that saying, yet the nonsense that comes from your fingers made me say it
Look, it's simple. Don't bloody update!!! You did this very thing last year with the kitkat update. Whine after whine about nothing.
Puppets to companies indeed.....
I use Lollipop because I like it.
I like the new features
I like the new look
I like the new security it gives
I like the vastly improved battery
I like the speed bump i's been given.
YOU however havent even used it and are bitching about it like you did last year without using KitKat!! Its unreal!!
