Will the - AMAZING ANTON - Go all the way with JUDY? or will she pull out like what John Sergeant did when he was the peoples champion heading towards a popular Strictly Come Dancing victory in his year but could not cope with the pressure of popular success as the weeks went by?

Will Judy be able to cope with the pressure better of being the peoples champion to possibly win Strictly Come Dancing this year, that caused John to pull out of the series that he was in, in the end.

Who would have thought that Judy Murray would become the peoples champion after her son Andrew Murray became so unpopular on twitter before the show started.

Would you like to see Judy win Strictly or would this scenario not be your cup of tea this year.

I wouldn't want Judy to win .. but I'm happy to see her for a few more weeks yet.

The answer to both questions is no. The worst of dancers never goes all the way and she has already had ample opportunity to pull out if she so wished.

The voting is more bizarre than ever though given that her dancing is virtually non-existent and her routines are not funny at all. There isn't even a 'journey' with Judy she started off as dreadful and has achieved the same standard of mediocrity every week. If anything Anton has been dire even by his very low standards. I can only think the voting has something to do with a very average standard this year and a less than inspiring bunch of 'celebrities'.

Have to agree especially about Anton who ive always thought dire, and hes the only pro to constantly talk whilst the judges give their marks trying to be funny of which hes not

Sorry can't agree..........he makes me laugh and given Judy's lack of dance talent it is really the only thing he can do! At least he isn't sour faced and angry at the slightest hint of criticism.......unlike some ~ he just takes it on the chin, which he has in plenty!

To be honest the only pros who didn't take criticism well were James (who's thankfyully gone) and Brendan (who has now matured). On the whole the rest of the pros take the critique's well.

No need for her to pull out. We will come to our senses eventually.

no he wont win and no need for her to pull out

why on earth would she pull out

Why on earth should she leave? She's a crap dancer who is attempting to learn to dance. Not well granted. But trying.

If we got rid of the very poorest dancers, and on the other hand also didn't have any 'ringers' we are left with a much harder pick for the BBC and very little excitement in the show. I'm not sure we want Strictly Come Very Average Somebody's Auntie Dancing.

I think the bell curve approach is far better. Mostly Sunetra and Steves, a couple of Judy's and one or two Frankie types, gives a bit of everything.

No one should have to pull out. The John thing was ridiculous. People were voting for him so he had every right to stay.

Quite. And he would have been voted out in due course. His withdrawal was sheer vanity in my opinion.

Hi Terry

It's hard not to warm to Judy and, honestly, I'm pleased for Anton this year that he's so clearly getting on well with his partner. My guess is that she's very popular. Doubt she'll withdraw. She's realistic about her talent but competitive too

Hi Terry

Judy won't win - we, the gbp, love a trier but in the end we will come to our senses and as there are less and less 'alternatives' and they will get more votes, eventually Judy will be in the bottom 2 and she will be toast (as was Anne Widdecombe a few years back, and she was much less graceful than Judy is...).

Judy won't withdraw - she is from a fiercely competitive background and withdrawing will be the last thing on her mind - which is how it should be, whilst the viewers want to keep her there then she has a right to stay.

As to John Sergeant bowing out - he only did it because he had other commitments which he'd signed up to in the expectation of being out of Strictly within a couple of weeks - he had no idea he'd stay so long (to be honest Chris Parker apart, JS was the first 'duffer' to last beyond the first few weeks).

It's now become the Strictly tradition - 3 or 4 'Ringers', 3 or 4 'Duffers' and the rest of the field of varying ability inbetween, some of whom will not improve and will probably end up leaving before the most popular of the 'Duffers' and some will improve and will end up doing better than the initial 'Ringers' in the end.

sillier than usual post from you, terry - yeah, if you overdo capital letters, guess i'll take the other road ... the mother of our national tennis hero will get voted out in normal fashion as and when the zeppelin balloon has gone ... the judges' caustic comments ensure that she gets sympathy vote - but the moment they get complimentary, that will be the sign to stage exit left. in fact, the moment judy arrives in a dance off, i very much doubt the judges would put her through to live another day as she hasn't got an ounce of the "russell grant" factor;

Anton is a gentleman. I'm sure if Judy gives him the nod he'll pull out himself before the vital moment and relieve himself of his burden elsewhere.

Kristina gives good bitchface when she thinks the judges are being too harsh, and likes to have her say on ITT.
