Sounds like he would be a perfect replacement for Brucie

Hi Terry, nice to see you, to see you nice !!. I thought Bruce retiring was too much for you glad to see you back!! I think the BBC would like to keep Judy in long enough to persuade Andy to attend one week but he's made it clear he's not interested so far. I think people keep them in more to wind up the judges than anything, but she really does seem to like and get on famously with Anton and they genuinely seem to have fun and enjoy each others company, opposites attract and I think he has been good for her and helped her to unwind and have a bit of fun, much to Andy's disgust. They may last a week or two longer but will go out as soon as they hit the dance off.

Andy has been busy winning tennis tournaments since SCD started. He should be free in three Saturdays time - hopefully not in two Saturday's time, when he could be in the World Tour semi-finals at the 02!

The John thing was ridiculous he was deluded when it came to the crunch he would not have won, he just wanted to quit while he was ahead and make out if he had not quit he would have won the fact is he never would have.

I think Judy brings a warmth to the show is that for someone not in the showbiz world she doesn't seem fazed by the camera etc and how she is perceived.

I would still like to see a few go before her. Alison, Sunetra and Steve the reason been is I think they have consistently been over marked.

Caroline, Pixie, Frankie, Jake and Mark seem to now be the front runners.

the final four will probably be the three girls and Jake I think Mark will just miss out on the final.

The Great British Public Love Anton, his dancing talents are very wide ranging, he is very entertaining and that is why the voting viewers cats so many votes for him.

I think Anton is brilliant this year but I think it is the partnership people love. Also Judy's attitude to the show is endearing her to the viewers.

I don't think she'll pull out but I don't think she will go all the way.

Is the whole of Scotland voting for Judy? Irrespective of whether they are or not, she has a large encouragement vote or sympathy vote in the rest of the UK as well.

I want Judy to win!,

She will get my votes ( yes plenty of them . Every week).

She stands for feminism, the older woman and someone who is not totally in love with themselves.

I agree with both of the above. Personally, whilst I certainly don't want her to stay much longer, I have been pleasantly surprised by her attitude towards the whole show. The fact that she can laugh at herself helps too.

I don't think she will pull out. Why should she? It is the public who are voting for her, and sooner or later at least a proportion of her voters will vote for the better dancers.

To me Judy IS the best dancer - she is amazing for her age - inspirational in our hideous culture of youth centricity on everything - when did society become so shallow and callous

This is pantomime, entertainment for the masses - love it

I do feel their time is nearly up. Very boring comments from the judges and very boring routines. There are only so many ways o throw an ironing board round and all have been used to excess.

I agree that their time may be nearly up but I don't find their routines boring. She can't dance; she has no musicality (and the Clash music last night would challenge the most musical!) but I think Anton's routines have been ingenious given what he has to work with. As a Paso last night was actually far more inventive (while still keeping some genuine Paso elements) than Ola's. So one of the elements which makes me support Judy has been the interest in seeing how Anton will accommodate her limitations in a dance, which has been far less boring than seeing the middle rankers execute the same old moves their pros have displayed for years.

Yes, Anton is severely challenged every season. I am frustrated with Judy because she gets the footwork right, has the right attitude, keeps smiling and looks great, but there is nothing happening between her feet & her face. her body is as stiff as a board and there is zero rhythm. Surely they watch back their training videos and try to put right what is wrong? I can only assume that as soon as Judy is in front of the live audience her nerves get the better of her and rigor mortis sets in.

I have to assume that your source was the newspaper that everyone loves to hate, the DM.

I thought he was working as a presenter for Capital FM, (or, in Terryspeak CAPITAL fm)

Strictly is a bit of a slow starter this year, but Antons talent and dancing skills always light up the show, he must be the most consistent dancing success on the show.

How many of his partners have looked as if they would be out in week 1 and they have managed to survive for way beyond expectation. He must be doing something right.

With one simple word change you could have posted that in the other thread posted by the Chairman, Secretary and sole Member of the FForsyth Appreciation club.

Other older dancers have been so much better than her. Anyway people in pantos can usually dance!
