Please- no "people's Champion"
Please can we have no talk of People's Champion year.
It is a lazy overused phrase and means naff all |

No she isn't, not everyone enjoys watching her.
We don't know how much of the vote she is getting each week , we do know she got more than Scott and Allison this week. But that might be precious little of a very small vote altogether. Granted that has been repeated and above others for a few weeks but we still don't know, the weeks she was not in the dance off when Simon and Mark were in the dance off shows she was popular those weeks but over all we have no idea. |

Totally agree - the whole "People's Champion" thing is a farce.

Did the dalmatians get many votes?
Let's face it, it is that sort of a show. |

Until 2.14 we were doing quite well having no talk about people's champion. Now I fear it will get quite a few mentions.

I don't think Judy would want to be called a people's champion.

I think the whole concept of 'people's champions' went out the window when Dave Myers was being called one last year. After one round of voting.

the people's champion is the person who stands against what the 'establishment' want.
its not necessarily the person that everyone likes cos, as any fule kno, there is never a person that everyone likes the 'establishment' is also different for different interest groups. in strictly it could be the BBC vs the world, or it could be the old school balroom crowd versus the burn the floor contingent, or the journey vs the talent. so, i say: up the people's champion. whoever s/he may be. |
