Also, we know that John SIMM was the sixth master, and the fondness the production team have with disguising this particular characters name, such as using acronyms eg. YANA. I'm really enjoying the guest characters in Series 8, particularly the ferociously intense Missy and the wonderfully feline Seb. Seb's got a wonderfully subdued sense of menace, with undertones of the Cleaner in Black Books ('Dirty!') and The Pink Panther IMO.
