Praise for 3 CS

I see such a lot of criticism of 3's customer support I thought I would take a moment to redress the balance. Just had cause to speak to an Indian lady about a 3 dongle that I have lost the login credentials for. She came online to my laptop with logmein and had me sorted in no time in an extremely professional manner.

I never had any problem with CS with 3, Few months back i moved to a new house and was getting slow 3g speeds and bad signals downstairs(now getting good 4g coverage) , we tried home signals and wifi app but was not successful,in the end they offered me £7 discount on my 18 months remaining contract..If you are polite and appreciate them in return they do look after you.

I always found + results for what ever i am after. Worst CS i ever had was with EE so far.

Agreed, I am with EE on my main phone and their support can be pretty mediocre.

I have found the same, a mast was down and they gave me the details of why, what work was being done, when it would be back up and £5 credit for inconvenience without me even asking, and then rang the next day to confirm everything was working.

First class support, I have never had an issue personally.

Not only that, i purchased £15 One plan sim only in march, the very next day i requested to cancel and told that i am getting cheaper with virginmedia, they gave me 1 month free line rental credit, then after 3 months i had issues with signals and they gave me 3 months half line rental credit, and last time when i moved into new house and again had 3g signals and data issues, they gave me £3 line rental discount forever,Now i am paying £12ish unless i upgrade or change my contract.

Love 3 network (a thread should not always be open for negative comments when facing issues, but can be opened for positive too )

+1 for Three's great customer service.

Had a problem where I got redirected from a game site to a porn site and then charged £12 for the privilege. Called three and the lady put me on a conference call with the company that charged me and helped me get the £12 back.

Shhhhh.

Don't tell people this. It's what I've been doing for years. I'm currently paying £12.50pm for mine and regularly get bill credits haha. I just complained for the sake of it once and they gave me a bill credit, it wasn't even a complaint about anything, I just said I was complaining.

Yep, +1 for Three's great customer service from me too.

I've had several examples of it over time; handling a direct debit mess (that a certain bank with all UK call centres refused to even acknowledge), network and coverage queries, technical issues, billing etc. I mean, call backs 4 or 5 weeks later? From the same advisor you spoke to in the first place (or the particular advisor who took ownership of your query)? Don't see that too often at all, from anywhere, let alone other networks.

Quite. This place is obsessed with the Three network though, to both extremes, so I can't say I'm surprised someone's getting huffy about this thread.

Three's CS has always been better for me than my time spent on calls with vodafone or O2 (albeit via CPW)
