Oh dear god no, that's really all I have to say about that.

Obviously there'll be a few ATs and salsas, but the thought that they could potentially have people doing any other dance style that isn't ballroom/Latin fills me with dread. Hopefully I'm wrong and it'll just be random music again...

Iraq, Ukraine, Sierra Leone, North Korea, Ciudad Juarez ... can't wait! I'm particularly looking forward to Frankie and Kevin's American Smooth to 'I'm So Ronery'.

Then in my final dance reprise my Blackpool Week Waltz to athe Last Waltz by Englebert Humperdink with Natalie in that LED dress get another40/40 and WIN STRICTLY COME DANCING

You've thought about this far too much!

I'm only hoping that this means the regular dances to music from around the world rather than what I imagine will be the odd attempt at something vaguely African and Judy Murray Morris dancing.

I hope this just means music from around the world how unfair would it be if some landed salsas and at's that week and others were stuck with a polka or bollywood it wouldl have to be the music surely?? or everyone of them would have to do a dance not in the show already to make it fair

Do you know what... I don't mind it, for one week. The OTT reactions to change here are hilarious at times.

not opposed to change as long as it is fair - for me that would mean they ALL do dancers not already included on SCD

Hopefully, it'll be tunes with the names of countries in the title and conventional ballroom dances.

i.e.
A Little Street in Singapore; Manhattan Transfer
Africa; Toto
From Russia With Love; Matt Monro
South American Way; Carmen Miranda
etc.,

No hang on! That's no good, we'd get the Beatles naffin; Norwegian Wood!

Well, at least it will provide another opportunity for Len to talk about getting his bongos out

If KFG calls Frankie 'Frankenstein' one more time she may resort to capoeira a few weeks early.

Did you know, Elton John has actually written a song called 'Grimsby' ...

Although i suppose technically that would be Bernie Taupin - who does hail from that neck of the woodsish.

I'd pay money to see Len perform this.

I'm not expecting anything spectacular. The "Dancing Through the Decades" and "Best of British" themes were scarcely touched upon. It's really only Halloween and Movie Week the production office make a fuss about, and since those have already been and gone, I don't expect anything exciting theme wise between now and the final. Obviously Blackpool gets its own week, rightly so, but that's probably going to be it...

Anything has to be better than "Every Song Has The Word Love In The Title" Week.

Yes, Hayley singing in my native Dutch

No, that would be a bit cruel (assume it's music from different countries but in English performed).

My choices from the Dutch jury:

- Rumba http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlHcYjA3lWQ

- Salsa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLm8J5REerE (the lead singer is now a jury member on the Dutch version of The Voice)

- AT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yjl890_qwf4 (Hint: performed on the results show a year or two back; no, not Andre Rieu )

- VW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWe8PRsW4T0 (think Eurovision)

- Tango (rock version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RaHTDNude4

Except for the Rumba chicks, all these artists are currently (still) hip in Dutchieland.

Mind you, they will not search that close to home anyway (I expect different continents)

That's bizarre.
In what way are they going to do this if they aren't all going to be doing different international dances never seen before?
Just dancing to "international music" ?
How is that going to work?

If you are going to theme, at least do it properly!

Nobody actually knows how it will work. It could be my option, it could be all different international dances (your suggestion) or it could music choices with the name of an international place or country in it (see the other thread).

Everything is possible.
