Struggling to find a winner

I haven't got a clue who should win. I don't think any of the acts have been fantastic.

Is it just me? or does anyone else think the same?

I'm not bothered who wins either

I think Andrea's the best singer and I think he could win it. They just need to give him better songs.

Simon said he wants the competition to be so close so that no one stood out as winner.

For me Andrea has the best voice in the competition it annoys m he doesn't get enough credit for how good he actually is I think he stand a massive chance for winning and I'm 100% backing him

Winning is unlikely, but would really not be a good outcome for my favourite, Paul.

Me too...I wouldn't normally want my fave in this show to win...in Andreas case though, it gives him the reassurance that he can achieve his goal/purpose in an environment unbeknown to him! !! Plus imo he's embracing the x Factor experience more!!

Its the reason why I have doubts whether Paul, Jake, jack even Ben are relishing the opportunity they have been given whilst being on the show so far!!!

Doubt mine will be the winner as I havent picked a winner since Series 7 but I love Ben and Paul and would love to see one of them want them to win but at least be in the final.

And this year it is a two horse race between Andrea and Lauren and one of these will be the winner.

What would they need to do to demonstrate this and how grateful do they need to be?

Besides, you do realise that what you are shown of all the contestants is directed, re-taken when desired, carefully selected and edited, right?

It's not like it wasn't obvious Leona, Joe or Matt Cardle were going to win and those were some of the best years we've had.

Apart from Leona you at least had a credible 2nd in Rebbecca Fergson and Olly Murs who have gone on to have careers.Leona is the best ever winner but last year;Sam Bailey was an outright winner without commercial value and zero competetion in Luke and Nicolas.Simon has only gained Tamera out that entire series.

The answer to your question is. ..take whatever is given to you and work it out to ur advantage...paul was given a song HE hated but he sung it well because he could....but the hatred for the song didn't look great to Simon (potential boss) and Co.....and he called up on it too. He was right to voice opinion bte...its the way its done, so not to upset urself and others. Jack was given a song...which imo was way too big for him...and it showed in sat night! ! Only now he realises he should have done it HIS way Itfp!!! Andrea on the other hand was given a song which should not have been allowed to be released. ..he did voice concerns. .. but he got on with rehearsals and put it off on tthe night.despite the added paint job....which upset many, myself included! !! Didnt faze Andrea no bit, he is just thankful for the experience!! Whatever editing is achieved the fact is its coming over very 'negative' as far as the show is concerned and Simon wont be best pleased....knowing that someone is not appreciating what could be a great oopportunity for themhence the comment to Paul!!

The seconds were good but there was really no question who would win. You're right about Sam Bailey's year being kind of boring but I wouldn't attribute it to her being the obvious winner, since we've had great years with obvious winners before.

I am not struggling to find a winner. It is Scowell.

Scowell has his cash cows in place and who actually gets the most votes I may even feel sorry for them.

Difficult this year.....I can see a few potential winners here

Ben
Fleur
Paul
Andrea

But can I see any of them with enjoying any lasting success after it's all finished - No!

I like OTY this year and yes, I acknowledge that Ben and Lauren are really quite talented, but they just don't do it for me...

Looking forward to Billy Jean this week.

I had thought before the live shows this would be a good series with the talent 'I thought' they had picked.

How wrong was I?

The lives haven't been great at all. I expected more from a lot of the contestants and they have been pretty poor.

That being said, I love Ben's voice so would be happy to see him win. But I suspect Andrea or Lauren will win over most people. Don't rule out a shock Ben win though if it remains close throughout..

Paul has the technically strongest, "best" voice. Andrea is the "best" singer, as in, great voice and most natural ease using it as an instrument. Fleur is the best all arround live performer. IT will likely be one of them. I am actually glad Paul seems to be loosening up and showing more confidence and emoting when he sings and that Fleur wows us each week with her skill, because I originally expected Andrea to sweep this, but it makes it more interesting when others stand a chance.
