Hi, first post so please be gentle!

I've always accessed BBC iplayer thru the Wii console but have hit a snag trying to watch the HBO show 'Foo Fighters Sonic Highway'.

First 2 episodes were shown one after the other on Sunday 26th Oct. on BBC4 but third and consecutive eps. are not on live TV, just going straight to iplayer.

The thing is, logging on to iplayer on an ipad etc. all three episodes are there to view but through the Wii the first 2 were there (but have now gone after 7 days) but there's no signs of the third episode.

Help, I'm both confused and stumped, does the Wii just stream a limited version of the iplayer?

Thanks in advance.

I had a similar query with Demand 5 regarding Gotham not showing up on my Freesat+ box but was on my parents Smart TV.
This was the reply I got which I would think will be the same reason for your program not showing on BBCiPlayer via Wii.
Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Demand 5.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make every programme available on all Demand 5 platforms. This is because each platform requires separate rights and it is not always possible obtain these rights from the distributor. This is the case with Gotham on the Freesat Freetime app. In future, we do hope to be able make all content available on all platforms and are sorry to disappoint you on this occasion.

Thank you for your interest in Channel 5.

Yours sincerely

I noticed on Amazon prime the TV series Toast has 5 episodes instead of 6, episode 2 is missing. Wonder if there's music or some other copyrighted material on there, which they don't hold the rights.

Thanks, I thought that it may be something along those lines. I've ordered a lead so that I can hopefully plug my Kindle Fire HD into the TV to watch it that way.

There are over 1200 different versions of each programme in iPlayer ...
Depending in wrapping as well as coding ..
So it is not surprising that one devices files are not available.
