Watching Scott's eviction interview on ITT last night, they showed a VT purporting to be of his friends watching him on SCD live on Saturday night. Drink was flowing and they were all cheering him on, complimenting him on his best dance yet etc etc. It then showed Craig giving his critique of Scott;s performance (obviously not desperately complimentary) and one of the friends yelled out something to the effect " Craig's being really mean about Scotts LAST DANCE on SCD.

Now either this wasn't being filmed live as SCD went out and was just a set up purely for the ITT Eviction slot (which is almost as devious and false as pretending the Sunday Results show isn't filmed on Saturday night immediately after the votes are in) OR his friends knew that he wasn't going to be in the show any longer PRIOR to both the viewers votes being counted and announced and the DO and the judges votes being cast!

Do you think Scott finally had enough and told the BBC to get him off the show in whatever way they wanted or was it simply ITT using the same deception as SCD employs with the "Sunday" .show?

Do they actually say the friends are watching "live on Saturday night" though, or was it just something like "here's video of your friends watching your dance"?

I would assume it was filmed afterwards.

You are quite right they didn't say it was live footage......but they showed his friends watching Saturday nights episode of SCD on their telly at one of their homes........it was dark because the interior house lights were on and it and looked like there was a real party atmosphere, they were all having a drink and cheering him on leading one to think it was filmed as they watched the live footage on Saturday night. Why would they be watching that and not the Dance Off, if it weren't live? As Craig finished his critique, his friend said in response to Craig's comments " Aaah, bless him on his last week on Strictly"

Now if it was filmed after the results were announced on Sunday, why go through with that pretence? As it was on Mondays episode of ITT it had to have been filmed prior to that show........i.e Sat or Sunday night. If it was filmed on Sunday why didn't they simply show them watching the DO instead of being misleading?

Watched it back...Zoe just says "here's what your friends (insert names) thought of your last dance"...

If they were watching the dance off - was there seriously ANYONE who didn't know before either of them had ever set foot back on the dance floor that Scott was going to be the one going home?

I mean, the only one he might have stayed over was Judy, and that would have been touch-and-go.

He managed to cling on until last Saturday despite far better dancers leaving before him............and lets face it Alison is no great shakes either lol!

It was a rubbish bit of VT anyway. If it was a faked bit of rubbish VT then it was even worse!
