The team celebrate over 50 years of friendship between Blue Peter and The Doctor.

CBBC will be airing a special episode of Blue Peter on Friday afternoon to celebrate the show's longstanding affiliation with Doctor Who.

Radio Times says: Radzi Chinyanganya meets special effects supervisor Danny Hargreaves in a celebration of over 50 years of the Time Lord. The presenters catch up with the sonic device competition winners to see how they got on when they met Peter Capaldi and saw their inventions in action. Plus, a look back at some of the best Doctor Who and Blue Peter moments from over the years, and a performance by Brett Domino.

Doctor Who: Best Of Blue Peter airs Friday 7th November at 4.30pm on CBBC
Catch a repeat on Saturday 8th November at 6.30pm
