The Mistress and the Cyber...?

The Mistress' great plan, convert the Cybermen into the Cyber......women?

In the trailer there's a shot of a Cyber-head under a sheet, while it looks like it could be an original series era cyber-head, maybe she wants to change them into her own image too?

Yes, there's really no point for it, but I'd really like Moffat to stick it home to those who are airing sexist views in the guise of "oh but Who tradition, wahh, it's actually about ethics in Doctor Who writing.....etc" to change not just one of the longest standing foes' gender, but two in the space of two weeks!

C'mon Missy, get those Cyber Girls out for a party!

How would anyone tell a Cyberman from a Cyberwoman? Neither has any need to bear or feed children. We've already seen women that have been converted into Cybermen, they look exactly the same.

I can't find the original, but was there not a poster for the finale that featured the Doctor holding an old-style Cyberman head? Looking a lot like Handles, I think...

If Torchwood is to be believed, Cyberwomen wear silver bikinis and high heels.

Anyway, the idea in the OP is terrible. Cybermen are genderless. The best way for Missy to be a good representation of equality is for her to just get on with being a great villain without having to reference her gender all the time. Let's hope Moffat is up to the task, although his track record doesn't make me hopeful.

Really don't see the handles connection beyond "oh, it's a cyber head, it must be handles."

Spoiler
Kate Stewart throws the head to the ground in one scene, a little nod to UNIT's first outing methinks (as it's an invasion style head)

No, I wasn't saying that it was Handles - just that it was a banged-up Cyberhead, perhaps a little visual nod to him. Found the picture I was looking for...

Maybe The Mistressess crusade should be for more gender-neutral name of the Cybers rather than anything physical to the outfits
