Isn't she on holiday? I seem to think she'll be away next week too

Yes...........Zoe said she has gone on holiday!,........ There was a couple of the female dancers on ITT the other evening and they were chatting and showing some dance steps and Zoe (I am sure said).... said they were filling on until Karen gets back! ,so she should be appearing at some stage or other!......

She's on holiday for another week. Didn't Zoe mention she'd gone to Benidorm?

I hope they keep the 'Ask the Pro' section when she gets back. I really enjoyed it. The questions were much meatier than I anticipated and I enjoyed the near debate that Aliona and Tristan were getting into. Its a pity that couldn't run on.

I like this too. As the weeks go on they'll have fewer contestants and more time to fill. Considering the fluffy filler we've had before, surely they can make time for an "Ask the Pro" feature.

I have enjoyed the ask a pro but I would still have liked Flavia to do the choreo stuff as it haughty she was amazing last time she did it

She's in New Zealand, working.

I would imagine it's work, you wouldn't book three weeks holiday during the three months when you were due to be on the TV once of twice a week. It's a bit like being a professional in store Santa and booking off the middle two weeks of December.

Yes, though unlike Santa and Christmas, ITT is not her main job. She has a number of other things on the go all year round.

I am sure she has OK'd the absence with the Beeb, who will have paid her a freelance fee for the weeks she is doing. I suspect they value her input and might well have been happy to do this even for a holiday.

Meanwhile, I too am enjoying seeing the eliminated pros on ITT and hope they can continue to find a slot for it during the week when Karen returns.

Is ITT her day job?
I very much doubt it.

I believe that her husband is from NZ: http://www.karenhardystudios.com/the...-karen-conrad/ (I believe his Mum gave Brendan dance lessons). They may also be taking the opportunity to visit family while she can still fly.

I rather like the AskITT slot, I think it adds interest to the show, whereas with all due respect to Karen, I can't see the point of going over previous show when it's all done and dusted and celebs are already working on next routine.

I don't mind a bit of reflection on the previous show. I do think Craig gives some decent general insights on a Monday and Karen offers something a bit more specific on a Tuesday. Might not be a bad idea if possible to have them as a "double act" on the Monday show. Especially since Karen often mentions where she agreed or disagreed with him and the other judges.

agreed - I am loving the AskITT slot with the pros, its brilliant, I am just hoping they keep it on after Karen comes back

I don't understand why they have CRH on a Monday, repeating what he has already said on sat/results show - what is the point? he has said it once, why do we need to hear him say it again

not overly sure why Karen is giving her opinion on dances that have been done also - surely she would be more useful looking at the training footage and giving her advice on that - surely more help to the celebs to have a pros opinion (other than their own pro) on what they are currently working on that something that they wont ever do again

Ian's doing that, isn't he?
