Over here in the UK after several years of the X Factor winner automatically getting the Christmas No 1 (which was always a big thing in the UK) people started getting really fed up so there was a campaign against it and got Rage Against the Machine to No 1 instead to piss Cowell off lol Although, in all honesty a better song would have been nice cos that one will go down as the worst one probably

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be able to release anything at least until after the tour is done. All live show contestants are kept on contract until then (and, indeed, anyone who made judges houses and possibly bootcamp). They're allowed to gig etc, but until the contract is over Syco takes a slice of any profits.

Paul is a good singer - but he is another Craig Colton/Paije Richardson kinda singer. He'll finish 6th or 7th I think. He does kinda blend in the background tbh. That said, if I'm really honest all except Fleur and Only The Young blend in the background for me. Guess I've watched a lot of series of X Factor and can see singers who you get every year or so and where they finish. That mould becomes harder to break with each series.

There is a good reason for that in that I have no clue! I don't follow those kind of things and therefore do not understand them.

Both of those do nothing for me though to be honest but each to their own!
