Well minus the Unlimited Tethering.

Thanks for that Dan. Confirms what I was told was right.

Only out of contract customers are being targeted.

That's a 12 month commit.

People out of contract are rolling over on a 1 month commit.

If you go for a 12 month sim only, yes. £28 for 30 day.

Some of these deals are looking quite good: http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/...onthly-ee-nano

The 10GB one with £156 cashback looks especially good - takes the effective monthly cost down to ~£15. Wouldn't suit heavy tethering though obviously...

I'm on the £15 One Plan too but haven't received a text yet. I use approx 2-3GB per month and hardly ever use tethering. Think I'll wait until I get the text before I decide my next move because a 4GB tethering limit would be fine for me... Don't want to pay more than £15 though!

I'm on a 12 month Sim Only deal at £15, the fixed term ends next month.

No contact from Three as yet.

I'd be interested to know if anyone manages to get the £10 discount on one of the new plans, which is how I (and many others) managed to get it for the reduced price of £15.

I joined the One Plan near the end of February 2014 on a 12 month plan. Does this mean I will still get unlimited tethering until the end of February 2015 or will it only be until 5th January 2015?

I don't want to say "I told you so" to Jack and others who argued with me about "they have never done it before with talk plans, people are still on this old one and that" argument.

I posted this a month ago saying it was likely soon... Oh sod it, I'm going to enjoy saying this.

Bye bye Three.

Their service has been utter shite of recent.

I can't wait to move to a decent network.

Thanks for that, Dan.

I was going to keep my One contract Plan when my initial two years was up and go sim free, but I might stay on contract and get a new phone that way if I'm going to lose my plan.

Rather bummed out about these new limits, but I don't make enough calls or tether enough for it to make the blindest bit of difference to me. I just liked knowing it was there if I needed it.

Bit miffed but will probably affect me 0% in the long term.

If I just ignore three and don't ring them then what will happen? They can get stuffed with me paying £20+ as I got the one plan for £12 a month due to their dreadful service which they admit.

I just called them to find out what my options were. Currently on a 1 month One Plan at £15 per month. Use about 3-4GB of data, 400mins, and about 200 texts per month. Hardly ever use tethering but occasionally use it with my iPad.

They offered me:
Unlimited mins, texts, internet
4GB hotspot
0800 numbers for free
084/087 5p per min

This will still cost me £15 per month on a 30 day rolling contract. I've accepted it because I don't think there's anything better out there for me.

Hope that helps...

I'd guess we'll get 30 days notice in writing.

Isn't this the £28 a month package? - I'd be very happy with that at £15, 4gb tethering is enough for me.

I haven't had a text so far and use 120MB a month and very rarely tether. On The One Plan with Samsung Galaxy S4 on 24 month plan which expires in May 2015.

This thread I started last week may be of interest:

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2021316

They were trying to offer me an early upgrade and 25% discount when I have about 5 months left on my contract. I said no

Yeah I think so. I didn't have to barter or argue - he just offered it to me, no questions.

I hadn't yet received a text message but thought I'd give them a call to see what my options were - I was pleasantly surprised and this deal suits me perfectly!

If you don't ring them, I think you'll get automatically put on a new plan which doesn't include unlimited tethering.

Indicates this is all about the tethering.....

I will probably switch to this as a temporary measure, or until I find another network.
No text here yet.

I'd like to leave 3 early, shame they're only contacting people out of contract.
