The producers should just give up on Stereo Kicks!

They're not working. The public aren't interested. They are the easiest type of act to market yet they've fallen into the bottom two as early as week two. They all look like Union J rejects. Stories in the press make them look like d**ks (bragging about shagging, insulting Betsy, nude photo leak, bragging about drug use, a member trying to make a contestant break up with her boyfriend).

Producers should put their energy behind acts that are likeable and talented (Fleur, Only The Young etc). If Stereo Kicks land in the bottom two for the third time, there's no excuse for saving them again.

I agree!

Union J haven't really taken off, so what luck do Stereo Kicks have?

Also the boyband market is so crowded right now - 1D, 5SOS, The Vamps, Rixton (who all have their own sound).....I don't see SK bringing anything new to the table.

There is a gap in the market for OTY....Syco should be focusing on them instead.

ETA: I also think James is too good for this group, he should have been in the boys category.

Unless they pull something out of the hat this Sat, i think it will be the end for them anyway. They are one of the weakest bands that have been in the finals for a long time.

Well we did have Overload Generation, Kingland Road, Nu Vibe, FYD...none lasted very long.

Even if SK get a rebound on Sunday, I think they'll be bottom two the week after again

This could go two ways - there will be one last attempt at uber-pimping with loads of backing vocals (sorely needed) and big productions or they will just give up on them as a dead loss in which case watch out for that bus boys.

Not sure which at the moment.

I don't think Stereo Kicks is one of weakest just because they fall in bottom 2 twice, they are way better than weakest groups in finals. People always get excited to see what they are gonna perform and it doesn't happen with weak groups.

I think the competition will be boring without them & OTY and I hope at least one of them make it to finale !!!

Simon has been shamelessly pimping them from the start, obviously with an eye on their 'uniqueness' as an 8 legged cash cow.

But they look like a complete joke on that stage. A line of uncoordinated lads shuffling back and forth, doubling over with 'emotion' and clutching air. They have zero chemistry and look like 8 soloists who've been shoved onto a stage next to each other. If ever they need to bring out the plinths or the stairs it's for this shambling, shambolic lot.

All of them only have one leg?? That could be a good USP

If they are singing what I think they are then I predict another performance like Let it Be because they are the best when they just sing and we hear all of them and I also predict that they wont be in the bottom 2 this week.

Yep, truly a terrible idea. I also can't understand why they would choose 8 boys who all look so similar, there's no variety.

I don't really see much personality from them either. That Jake seems to be particularly stupid though considering he has caused the nude photos, this hotel story and some drug related tweets. And to think he was the one bringing in his little sister to the audition for the cutesie vote

The shagging at an Ibis interview should surely be the death nail, not because of the bragging but because its only an Ibis.

I had high hopes for them at the start in the sense of them being 8 and that being a "unique" factor - unfortunately Sunday's sing off performance was woeful and highlighted that as a group harmonising they aren't too bad, but as individual singers there are some who can sing and there are some who should keep their mouth shut.

I get the feeling the public believed in them at the start of the competition but by all accounts it looks like the public have had enough of them too. They will probably release a record and then be forgotten about at this rate.

As for the stories in the press/media then that is the last thing they need and I wouldn't be surprised if they were in the bottom 2 again this weekend - if the stories are true they have just committed commercial suicide (on a comp. like the XF) and will lose votes because of it, irrespective of their singing performance.

The voters has basically given up...

Were the voters ever with them, I mean week 1 they weren't in the bottom but then again beating the likes of Overload, Blonde Electra and Stephanie is hardly an achievement.

Also I'd imagine they were lucky that week 2 vote didn't go to deadlock or it would have been adios then and there.

OK...maybe not...the voters were never really with them...but didn't really give up on them until recently...but at the same time you can't really give up something you were never with...

He probably should've left out the bit about the girl paying for the room as well.

The thing with OTY is that they'd probably appeal to the same audience but there is a perfect gap for them. With SK they'd need to displace one of the other boybands, and it could backfire with that band being 1D.

Highly unlikely, groups are always tough on a show like this because in the real world a group is put together and groomed and preened for months before a public reveal. An 8 piece with no individuality would never work regardless of mentor, frankly they should never have made it to live shows.

Louis is a bad mentor full stop but good acts do well despite him. SK are just not gelling and the public don't get them.
