I did a full reset of my 2012 Nexus 7 to see if if would make it less sluggish than the update . Now it's pretty much unuseable , it was really sluggish before the update now it's unresponsive with at times multiple presses to wake the screen then the screen lock not working and screen taps not registering . To be fair it appeared to be on it's last legs before the update but it appears the new operating system has finished it off for good . Thankfully my Nexus 2013 still seems good . I read somewhere that the original Nexus has really poor memory installed which is why they all eventually fail .There doesn't seem to be any fix for this .
