Training VTs in ITT not always shown

I quite like to see the extra, non-scripted training footage they show when they interview couples on ITT - you know, the ones where they pick out a particular amusing habit of the dancers or celebs. Mark and Iveta's last year, for example, were brilliant. However, they don't always seem to do it every time, and for Jake and Janette in particular it's been a long while. I know this means that the interview is longer and not so contrived, but I like these glimpses into their training. What do you think?

I really miss seeing these as well, I don't know why they have stopped showing them.

They're also not making a big thing about the number of hours training each couple are doing. It makes me wonder how much training they're actually able to do? I know it's been mentioned that Sunetra/Jake/Simon have had problems fitting the training in with their "day jobs".

I agree, I don't think we've seen anything for Pixie and Trent have we ? Or I've missed it maybe.

I liked the end of show montages they used to do.

Like clips of everyone eating, or all checking themselves out in mirror, or any old stuff.
They once did one totally focussed on bananas

I bet in the past we haven't seen half of what they video.
It could be that they've cut down on the amount of training they cover, sending fewer people out to record them. I guess they think these little insights aren't that interesting to the demographic at which they are now targeting.

I noticed that too and then reasoned that maybe it's because it might be a little divisive. Some may want to do longer hours but can't due to work/family/travel-time. And more hours doesn't necessarily mean greater commitment etc. I seem to remember Ricky Whittle doing very few hours due to filming and yet he fared far better than people practising for longer.
