Good news for you sports fan's
BT has won it's case against BskyB in courts to have sky sports 1&2 on its youview box like had on BT vision box and talk talk has on its youview box.
So you should see them added to the epg soon and customers to choose to pay for them. |

About time. Ridiculous how long this dragged on for, but it's par for the course with BSkyB, they've long been a company with few scruples or morals.
If there is some sort of half-price introductory offer I may get Sky Sports with BT TV, but not at what will undoubtedly be a steep full price (£25-£30 depending on the amount of SS channels available?...) as I'll only really watch some WWE programming and the occasional football match. All that golf and F1 and whathaveyou is wasted on me! Would be great to have Sky Sports News, admittedly, but otherwise BT Sport is good enough for me, costs nothing and has all the UFC supercards, Ultimate Fighter and a Premier League match most Saturday lunchtimes. |

I do like to watch some Scottish football but not every time it on as well as some rugby when the likes of the home nations are playing as well as some tennis now and again. I also like to watch ski-ing but I can get that on Eurosport. I would not want to be paying a steep £25-£30 or whatever the price will be for say two Sky Sports channels or however many Sky Sports channels come to BT Youview. Only to find I may only watch the channels a few times a month. The now im happy with the BT sport offering but its good to see that Sky Sports will be coming to BT Youview at last. Darren |

Darren There has been some Scottish football on BT Sport, as you are probably aware, Darren. From what I can tell, it's pretty limited coverage though, compared to the English Premier League where you're guaranteed a live match every Saturday afternoon unless there's internationals in the week or whatever. BT Sport's rugby coverage looks pretty thorough from what I can tell, if you're into that

Looked up Sky Sports on the older BT Vision box and it's £16.50 for either SS 1 or 2 or £22 for both with "bonus" channel Sky Sports 5. I was assuming in my last post that, akin to TalkTalk, BT will offer on YouView all 5 SS channels (6 if you count Sky Sports News HQ, though TalkTalk provide that in their basic TV package) and therefore the price would be increased to reflect the extra channels, but now I'm not sure. Guess we'll see what BT will offer in the coming weeks.

I do like watching some rugby it just depending on what teams they are showing. Darren |

Unless the commercial relationship between BT and Sky alters dramatically, Sky will only provide the channels to BT it must ie Sky Sports 1, 2 and probably 5. SS5 is there as content from SS1&2 was removed and put on it.

I will be waiting to see what the offer is first. For im thinking of getting an extra box to fully use the multi room and if its anything like the Sky Moves offer they will not let you have Sky Sports with a second box.
I don't have the Sky Moves package with BT or the kids bolt on but I have all the others. As I have said I will be in no rush to add Sky sports to my BT package when it comes to Youview. Darren |

Excellent news. I wonder how long it will be before they're actually available. Not too long I hope.
